Thoughts After Reading The Letter...

It's their job to police the coaching staffs, stop problems short, and insulate the Athletic Department as a whole from liablity for rules violations. The people assigned to monitor Pearl and Co. failed miserably on all accounts.

I researched but couldnt find another time in which he lied because he thought he should. So i tried. Now please will you answer my question without a smart retort?

If his mouth is moving, presume it.

Just curious, but, what would you have done if a possible recruit had come up and spoke to you? Tell them shut the f*** up or would you have been cordial and told the kid that you could not be speaking to them.
Either is a violation. Let's wait and find out what really happened.

I'm sure...with Bruce being an honest guy, that it was just a coincidence.

Any person who lies uncontrollably in their personal life should not get the benefit of the doubt in their professional life.

If this is all true, why don't you think UT basketball would be hit too hard? Maybe because the actual violations themselves weren't that serious in nature?

Please try hard to give a serious answer. I dont know if the guy is a compulsive liar or not. He tells one lie and tries to cover it up but does that make him a sleaze ball or whatever that he gets called here. I asked a serious question to the poster that put it out there as fact and would like a serious answer which may shed light on all of this for me.

I'm pretty sure that the latter is not a violation.

I think essentially being forced to cut ties with a successful coach is getting hit pretty hard.

He lied verbally and in writing to the university and the NCAA. He then tried to get others to lie for him. What else does he need to do to convince you?
