I've read the letter twice and sat on it for two days. i guess my overall beliefs going forward as relates to basketball are -

1. Hamilton must go. If he isn't, then I will have even less faith in Cheek and DiPitero.

2. Based on predecence (and if there is one area the AA seems to be consistent, it's this), I really don't see how Pearl isn't going to get sanctioned to the point that we have to let him go.

At the end of the day, personal thoughts/feelings towards Pearl and how acted aside, I want what is best for UT bball. I am too afraid that by sticking by him through this is going to put the program in neutral (at best) at a time when several teams in the SEC are starting to show little signs of life again and once again put us behind other programs.
