Time to Fire Up a Biden is a Liar Thread

There were two living in the house behind mine and they got into a hell of a fight on Cinco de Mayo the year before last...at first I thought it was funny and was out on my back porch listening to them...I can’t see the house through all the trees... but I heard it all. Even when they went inside the house.... I could hear doors slamming, glass breaking .... after a minute or two of this I was wondering if I needed to call the cops to keep them from killing each other. It went on for a good 10 minutes if not longer. I drove to the back of the neighborhood the next morning just to make sure there wasn’t police tape around the house

Actually CP, it was not chimichangas...

I don't see how $15 per hour will lift anyone out of poverty considering they won't be getting 40 hours, much less overtime.
EL is looking forward to a huge raise.

Well the article only specifically mentioned New Mexico, Texas, and Wyoming. Texas and Wyoming went Trump but the New Mexico peasants will just have to suck it up in being sacrificed for the progressive cause.
I'm sure uncle Joe has a plan to rape and pillage Las Vegas as well, tough stuff Biden voters.

Biden has been in office for 9 days.

He said 'immediately'. He went all used car salesman about the amount AND the timing.

I'm not a conservative, BTW. I'm a lot further left than Biden. But a lie is a lie. And the excuse "Trump and the GOP are worse" isn't a good defense at all. Anyone who would call it out for Trump but not for Biden, or vice versa, is being intellectually dishonest. There's no need for cognitive dissonance here, and lack of holding politicans accountable because you 'like' them or they're on 'your' side is why nothing ever gets done in this country (unless you're rich, of course).

Politicians aren't celebrities. They make important decisions that affect us all and none of them is above criticism, especially when they blatantly lie. And, like it or not, Biden has a history of lying. He lied A LOT during the primaries and the media never called him for it. They were too busy fawning over him at every chance they could find. He lied about getting arrested visiting Nelson Mandela, he said during the primary he never advocated for cuts to SS as a Senator (he did several times, and it's on tape), he lied and said a drunk driver was responsible for killing his wife and child (driver wasn't under the influence). Not to mention he promoted lies, as Senator and the chairman of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, that helped lead the US into the Iraq War; how quickly people forget that both he and Hillary enthusiastically supported the war. Despite that, he lied during the primary and said he was against the Iraq War from the start.

Does "immediately" mean within 2 weeks... or is it relative? You are splitting hairs.... and we will never have a bigger liar in the Oval Office than the idiot who was just kicked out of it.

Maybe you missed this part of the post you quoted:

Trump being a pathological liar doesn't negate Biden lying. Both things can be (and are) true at the same time.

We are less than two weeks in to Biden's first term. If "immediately" is the best you can do for a lie, that isn't saying much. "Immediately" is a relative term... which is open to interpretation.

There’s nothing relative about the term “immediately”. He signed a s**load of EOs immediately after taking office. He said $2k would come immediately after taking office. Guess which has happened and which hasn’t?
