The staff drops a lot of committed kids. Only makes sense that these kids start to understand a commitment to the staff is always shaky at best. If they are smart, most keep their options open. If commitment means little to the staff, committed kids can't be expected to just HOPE they get to sign. Do that and you're setting yourself up as the next on the long list of "gotta make room" candidates.

I know we're all getting upset with the way Scurry is seeming to handle his commitment to the Vols. He's said some very questionable things. He's put us in limbo whether he really is going to be a Vol or not. You can say he's acted sort of immature but he's not the only recruit to have done this.

We all really need to rally around him & not bash him if at all possible. This is an in-state 4* kid. We need him & he needs us. Let's try to be as positive as possible for him even though he's done & said some very immature things off & on throughout the past few months. Thanks!

lol....Absolutely no one in this thread is upset about a 2019 kid opening his recruitment back up Tony. The worst thing that has been said is "why would a kid commit 2 years early".

Sure Mays did, but most kids aren't him. I'm pretty sure he was born wearing a UT jersey.

Everything else has been said in jest.

I had a girlfriend in high school who was just like this. She said she was committed, but she opened up for everyone.

Great repetitive speech except that is not why the kid said he was opening his commitment back up.
