Today's GOP Not The Party of Lincoln

How did they try to overturn it?

They didn't but his was priceless.

How so? Hillary Clinton conceded defeat the day after the election. Democrats did not send an alternate set of electors to the meeting of the electoral college. Democrats did not draft forged documents for certification. Democrats did not disrupt the formal certification with an incursion at the Capitol. Hillary Clinton even attended Trump's inauguration.

You are not talking about the same things that I am.

There was a "Faithless Elector" push leading up to the certification.

Can't really overturn her result because she took for granted the Blue Wall of Mich, PA and Wis. This was a nice touch though

Congresswoman Tlaib tells cheering crowd that Trump impeachment coming “We’re going to go in and impeach the motherf----r”

and???

She was obviously correct.

They 100% were. The establishment could not stand that Trump won and started trying to oust him even before inauguration when the tapped his phone lines.
Impeachment is NOT an attempt to overturn the outcome of an election. Even if it had led to a conviction in the Senate, it would not have made Hillary Clinton the President. That is ignorant.

It wasn't just the establishment that could not stand him, it was tens of millions of citizens also.
But they didn't try to overturn the election. They reluctantly accepted that Trump had won. They just wanted to get rid of him if there was any legal way possible.

That's still not comparable to the measures that Republicans took.... and it did not involve Hillary Clinton, who conceded defeat right away.
It's well documented that the faithless elector strategy was discussed with her. She was smart enough to keep her distance, but you're kidding yourself if you don't think there was a strategy discussed. The losers throwing a temper tantrum and trying to delegitimize election results has unfortunately become standard operating procedure on the fringes.

Splitting hairs.
No, that's called having a basic understanding of civics. If a President is removed from office, their opponent in the previous election, is nowhere to be found in the line of succession. Impeachment is not an attempt to overturn the outcome of an election.

Uh . . . not exactly.

I'm calling bull $hit.

Link?

If it is indeed, "well-documented", then you shouldn't have any trouble finding a source to verify it.
