Gave these up a few years back. Gave up Facebook around the same time. I skim articles. Dive into some topics pretty deep. Dip my toe in others. Spend too much time on this board. Ya know. The usual.

Look-it, he is the one who started talking about me. If he can act like he knows me, then I get to act like I know him. If you think that's wrong, then why didn't you say something to him and the other mopes talking trash about me? Well? Why didn't you?

They were trash for sure but the way the media treated them was horrific too.

Romney was trash because he was far too moderate yet the media treated him as this evil racist, sexist. It was absurd. My objections to Romney are only as a politician. The media carried water for the left (like always) and pretended a genuinely good person was evil. It was gross

To be fair, his out and devout Mormon/LDS faith does warrant questions about how he would handle certain things. It's only been since the late 1960s that black people have been seen as clean and eligible for association by the church. I would hope that he aligned his views with that of the chief Prophet at the time.

Your example above is why I roll my eyes when I hear “Anyone but Trump. Just nominate a moderate Republican. That will help our country heal! Heck, I may even take a look. If we agree on enough, maybe I’ll even vote for them!”

No. No you won’t. As soon as the primaries are over, the candidate with the D next to their name has to win to save our democracy from the evil, lying, racist, homophobic, sexist, bigoted Republican they are running against. That’s the narrative that will be pushed. And the narrative they will keep pushing, for the next 4 years, even if the Republican wins. Their views do not matter. Character doesn’t matter. The R next to their name is what matters to the MSM. The majority of the left will fall in-line behind that narrative.
