Tom Smith commits to the Vols

Of course he would choose UT when his other offers were from FAU, FIU, and terrible schools like that. Dooley can't recruit worth sh!t against anyone in the SEC. This guy won't be taking us anywhere. I can't wear orange until basketball season.

Dont let the door hit you in the a$$ on ths way out

Hardesty didn't run away from any DBs this year and had one of the most productive seasons of any RB in the SEC this past year. I'll take a hard nosed runner that can pick up at least 5 yards every play over a guy that will break the occasional long run.

hardesty ran a 4.49 at the combine. hardesty was also a 4 or 5 star prospect

Well you're from Nashville, you could always become a Vandy fan. You could go join their board and double the member count. Then everybody wins.

I can't help but realize this time a year ago when we got a low ranked commit everyone seemed to go on about how Coach O and Kiffin had found another "Diamond in the Rough" but when Dooley gets a kid out of Florida that looks to be a pretty good running back... he obviously doesn't know what he is doing. The man got some pretty solid recruits in a short time span last year.. and we are on the minds of alot of kids out there now... which is impressive after our last two seasons... so lets let him and his staff evaluate kids I trust he knows what kind of kid he needs on his team

this post reminded me of glen stanley's recruitment...i think CDD brought him and and CLK stole him...i may be wrong

If everyone hear is satisfied with 3 star players who choose UT over crappy WAC and MAC schools then good for you. I want whats best for the program and not some guy who could barely do anything in the WAC. The majority of last years class that ranked 9th in recruiting was all Kiffins recruits. He landed Da'Rick because he offered Nance.

I was raised in Nashville and I didn't know such a thing existed. Guess things have changed a lot in the last 20 years.

:good!:
Unfortunately patience, loyalty, and faith with our new football coach is a problem with this crowd.

Bye. If you'd like to check your unnecessary orange at the door, be my guest.

Do you have some inside sources that back up your moronic postings? Dooley pulled top recruiting classes at LSU as recruiting cordinator. I highly doubt Saban gives him that job if he can't judge SEC talent. Dooley knows what he is doing, and knows a lot more about it than anyone here including you.

CDD didnt have a whole lot of time to do any more than he did. And what he did was exceptional

Please enlighten us on what is best for the program and the date you became clairvoyant.

Jason Smith who was chose 2nd overall in the 2009 draft was rated a two star athlete by rivals. And I would take all of the 3 star athletes from Utah that beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, Or the 3 stars from BYU that beat Oklahoma last year, or the 3 stars from Boise that beat Oklahoma, Oregon, TCU.

Don't worry, nothing has. I have lived in Nashville for all 17 years of my life, and Vandy fans for the most part do not even show up on the radar. Nashville is Big Orange Country.

Well, lets start by letting the people who are both great recruiters , Dooley and Thompson(recruiter of the year in 2008), do their jobs without B'chen about every move they make in recruiting.

Undoubtedly, Nick Saban, who employed both as his recruiting coordinators knows a lot more than any of us about prospects. Both recruited for 3 NC teams.

Great pickup, he definitely isn't a WAC recruit and playing against the competition in Florida is a great plus as well.
