Top US General Publicly Disagrees With Trump Over Syria

Yes that’s so much worse then invading a country we had no business invading, with no exist strategy, relying on US companies to rebuild as supposed to locals, and firing their entire military and then acting surprised when they join the insurgency. Yes let’s blame Obama for that.

Please show me evidence that you were against invading Iraq. There was one person of note on record against invading. Donald Trump.

I give trump credit for not continuing the let’s go to war with anyone approach of the previous two admins. I refuse to forgive him for what he is doing with the deficit.
His presidency isn’t over.

The House has the power of the purse. Spending is the problem, but I agree that our national debt is totally out of control and a serious threat to our national security.

Imagine what Obama’s national debt would have accumulated if the Fed had interest rates > 0%

Do you know Trump has to sign off on it? It’s on him too. No forgiveness.

Rinse and repeat. Every government shutdown is blamed on Republicans this is irrefutable. And if you can't string together more than 1 election cycle with Republicans controlling House, Senate, and WH this will only be solved when there is no other option.

So do you want him to do what’s right or what is politically favorable to him?. I was told he was different by him and his backers. Feels like just business as usual.

And your the crowd that regardless of what happens you are never happy. No way to go through life brother. If you truly are niave enough to blame the president because he had the opportunity to veto something then you have zero understanding of how the government got to where it is much less what is needed to start to make real lasting change to start chipping away at 60 plus years of bad decisions. Maybe I can put so people with comprehension problems can understand. A family that spends more than it takes in for several years until they finally decide that they will make necessary changes and get their financial situation back where it should be. Does any part of you think that without a substantial income change that this couple could eliminate all their financial issues in a year?

With Trump's failed economic policy I'm pulling for another bank bailout and cash for clunkers success story.

I have said a million times on this board it’s a spending problem. I also don’t appreciate or support a politician who tells me they understand it’s a problem, commit to fixing it, and then make it worse.

Obama created the environment for isis by withdrawal without a plan
Meh, I disagree.

ISIS is a creation on Obama's State Department and CIA that were used to destabilize the ME and help war hawks to justify sending in more US forces.

Turkey and Syria traded attacks near their shared border in a spasm of direct, deadly violence that threatens to escalate the friction between two increasingly bitter neighbors — and more deeply entangle Syria's ally Russia.
On Monday, officials in Ankara announced that at least six Turkish soldiers were killed in an artillery attack launched by the Syrian regime in the northwest Syrian province of Idlib. Within hours, Turkey answered with an assault of its own, killing several dozen Syrians in a retaliatory strike on some 40 regime positions in the area, according to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Turkey is improving their relations with Russia as well. Interesting dynamic and Erdogan may find himself without any allies. Not sure how their NATO membership will play out with their S-400 purchase and other defense items under consideration.

Stability in the region took a nosedive with our pullback as predicted.

AFAIK, we are still there. Regardless, this is a different dynamic between nation states, not Kurdish wanna bees, and is not exactly a new development. I will admit everything is so convoluted over there that I have little understanding. Kind of enemy of my enemy is my friend crap.
