He relinquished a chance at having an impartial judge decide the case based on all of the relevant evidence in favor of doing a media tour where he selectively present evidence to persuade stupid people that there was nothing there.

She initiated all this. I agree you’re right that her civil suit was posted after his, but her false police report was filed first which prompted his suit. Now that the police have decline to press charges and she’s no longer seeking a civil suit, there’s no need to continue.
