Specifics like this?

Young Floridians test positive for coronavirus at almost twice the rate

More sick, less hospitalizations

But this was inevitable as things opened again. The only other option is to obliterate the US economy to which seems to be ok with some on here. Eventually a lockdown and unemployment kills more than it saves. But a suicide death can't be used as a scare tactic

So that article, from several days ago before the recent spike, says that over 90% of those testing positive are over 18. I followed the link to the Florida Department of Health website to see the data it's reporting. Nothing there shows age breakdown, either of older or newer cases. So question still stands why you're supremely confident that all or most of the newly reported cases are in young people.

I'm sure you believe the orange man on this one as well

Move those goal posts.. you posted a video specifically to ridicule Trump’s reaction to a bird of prey. I called you out in that you and most other folks would have the exact same reaction. You know, flinching, drawing away from the beak and talons, the sole purpose of which are to rip and shred flesh. Where did anything he said come into play in that?

By the way, nice deflection on not answering the question regarding if you have ever been that close to a bird of prey.

Oh, and yes I have and I yanked my hand out of range with a quickness when it decided my rings needed tasting.

I would suggest not to wear meat rings to the petting zoo.

I never said all or most. I simply provided very basic data that you said was hard to find. The cases in youth are going up and the need for hospitalizations is a third of the normal pop.

Why do you desire fear and compete economic breakdown because of this virus that we now know isn't the world ender we were sold. It's ok to admit you are wrong

Where are you getting that I "desire fear and complete economic breakdown." The spike in Florida is concerning. Way more daily cases now than at any point during April and May. That can't be escaped by a simple hand wave that deaths are going down. Yes, they have been going down because cases had been going down. Now cases are increasing (in fact, the daily case load is higher than ever before in Florida) so I would expect deaths, which lag reported cases, to increase too. There's a lot of space between hermetically shutting down the economy and getting back to grinding on each other in packed bars and night clubs.

Because all you post is fear with superficial data you clearly don't even read. You know many are now including antibody tests as positives? How does that affect the stats? I live here with a large part of our family and I'm not concerned? How about taking on NYC and calling out Cuomo for causing deaths? FL had handled it much better yet you're "concerned." Your dishonest agenda shines through daily

This is the only virus that has ever been treated this way. The economy should be open. Sorts should be played. School should be full time and in session. If you're scared just stay home.

How is it superficial to report that Florida had 3207 new positive cases reported yesterday. That's a fact. Cases in Florida are spiking. That's a fact. The geriatric, anti-mask Trumpers are coming in droves for the convention. That's a fact. I guess I forgot to quote Clay Travis. Was that my sin?

Because when you're quoting numbers the context is extremely important. You seem to ignore it completely. Very similar to when LG used to whine about profit dollars yet ignore the profit %.

You're also not consistent since you want to call out one side yet ignore the actual, verifiable deaths directly attributable to the other sides response.

You also don't seem too concerned with any new cases that might come from tens of thousands involved in protests. At the same time you call others names who are simply also exercising their right to assemble.

So Trump will hold a political rally in Oklahoma this Saturday. It's expected to sell out the venue, and roughly 20K fans will attend.

The plan is to disregard all social distancing, scan people for fevers before allowing entry, provide hand sanitizer, provide optional masks.

What could possibly go wrong? Well, this is the chance for all those here who think CV19 is a scam to prove everyone else wrong.

Trump, obviously, won't wear a mask. I'm curious as to what % of attendees will, and how the organizers will arrange folks. Specifically, the folks behind Trump who appear on TV are, of course, hand-picked from attendees prior to the start of the rally. Will organizers target folks who won't wear a mask? This would drive home an intended statement that the virus is "done" and there's "nothing to worry about". Conversely, they could select mask wearers to convey "hey, still be safe". I suspect the former.

Will Trump's rally result in subsequent viral infections? If yes, on what scale?

The outcome could have bearing on stuff that's important to nearly everyone here: TN football.

MSM will no doubt track what happens with the virus post-rally, so please post updates here.

Place your bets.
are you still hiding in the bunker?

SMH.

President Trump's Administration Advice: Wear masks and social distance.

President Trump's Advice: Masks are optional (I don't wear them) and don't social distance.

So when you say "guidance" by the government, what exactly is that guidance now?

Your governors and mayors , I didn’t say federal government. They are the ones controls the states.

👍ok, that was funny🤣
Birds of prey educational demonstration with a meet and greet at a Renfest and my diamond ring caught the falcons attention in the sunlight. Spun the stone towards my palm and no further issues.😁

The context "omissions" you seem to be concerned about are that deaths in Florida have been decreasing and those under 18 accounted for less than 10% of the confirmed cases (meaning that over 90% are adult cases). That daily deaths had been falling is kind of irrelevant if the fact that I'm pointing to is a spike in cases over the past week to 10 days. The disease hasn't run its course in those new people yet. The previously observed decrease in daily deaths had largely followed a decrease in confirmed cases observed about 6 weeks to a month ago. That kids account for more infections in FL than elsewhere doesn't change the fact that 90% of confirmed cases (largely before the recent spike) are in adults. Now if you have some data showing that the recent spike is attributable to young people (i.e., less than 50 years old), then present it. If not, just acknowledge that you're just as much in the dark about the demographics of these new cases as I and others are. We can thank DeSantis for that.

I've shown the data you request is available with a simple Google search yet you don't seem to want it. Too many characters?

You also continue to step over dead bodies in NY to point fingers at any republican. That's weak

I've blasted both DeBlasio and Cuomo on here. DeBlasio was an idiot for not shutting things down earlier and encouraging people to get out on the town. Cuomo made a terrible decision to send covid positive patients back to nursing homes. But given where NY was, the state and the city have done a good job of quickly bringing down the numbers.

They've done a heck of a job not killing so many people anymore. Kudos

What could go wrong? Trump says covid is on its way out, must be true.
