'19 TX WR Isaiah Neyor

Wasn't really up tp them. If it were up to the NCAA (the universities) they'd never have allowed any of it and protected the facade of amateurism till the end.

SCOTUS decided for them and pointed out that ANY restrictions on one's ability to go earn freely of their own volition would bring plenty of scrutiny.

Now, is there a route to cap this if it's shown not to be true free enterprise and just a system for buying players? I'm no attorney or judge...but I'd be interested to hear such opinions on if that's even remotely possible.
Do you want to see true college athletics die? It often sounds like it. There has to be a way to manage this.

The kid's family was pressuring him to stay closer to home. We shall see if he made the right decision or not in due time. All of Texas QBs are unproven so he is taking a risk but being 3 hours from Arlington was the biggest selling point.

Would have been a nice get but I still like our WR room. Will need somebody to step up and help out Tillman on the outside. We will be fine on offense.

If you don’t mind my asking, DEVO, what is your profession? I have tried unsuccessfully to figure it out. I would have thought attorney.

Are you new here? We lost a recruit. Heupel sucks. Danny White sucks. We aren’t gonna win 5 games. We are Vandy. This staff sucks. Blah, blah, blah. It’s hilarious to see some people getting all worked up over this. Would he have been a good addition? Yes. A program dooming loss? Not even close.

Now we get to see the negadolts go on and on wallowing in their nega pens.

You said the same for Jared Verse. Hang onto your post. You might be using it again.

Y’all just stop and think of how many players will be going in the portal between April and August. Let other schools fill up and determine exactly what we are doing about reducing scholarships then get some players who want to play for Tennessee and our coaches.

“Critical “ loss…..I don’t think so. Young man should have never committed. He could be playing for Patterson in 10 months.

I think there is a very strong chance they don't have a coherent plan regarding the portal. Just because people are "in charge" doesn't mean they have master schemes and plans for everything. Coaches have deficiencies. They just hired the UNC guy because they very likely need help with the portal and want to improve upon that.

I may not know their inner details but we have 1 transfer while the rest of our opponents are filling important gaps with productive players. Our defense is bad. It's very bad. We need secondary and LB help in the worst ways

For the last 20 years, I’ve been able to convince myself that UT had some grand master plan regarding football only to find out that they, in fact, did not. And if history is any indication, UT is sitting on their hands at the back of the classroom waiting on the NCAA to tell us what we should do regarding NIL.

Please, Danny White, prove me wrong and have a master plan for once.

I don't know. Is lack of money the same as lack of a master plan?
