UFC 148 - July 7th @ 10PM ET

lol @ people who thought Sonnen would beat Silva and got in his head.

Not even a Silva fan.

My only question....

Is the UFC real anymore???

Except for the fact that Sonnen dominated 90% of the fight.

Is it just me? That knee while Sonnen was down had to have partially hit him in the head. I thought they should've stood them up and given Sonnen a second to recover.

Griffin leaving the ring and coming back to INTERVIEW Tito is not normal.

Thennnnnnnnnnnnn............. Silva brings back Sonnen to talk.

Stuff is seeming really rigged. I got what I wanted tonight but dammit, It doesn't feel right.

Agree. BS stoppage. This is the biggest fight in MMA history and you end it like that? Here comes Sonnen/Silva III...if the "champ" will agree to it.

When Silva was used to winning every fight.

When Silva had a rib injury.

When Sonnen tested 16.9:1 when the allowable limit is 4:1 in the UFC.

To me, it was always that Silva was bored and could care less. He looked saggy and slow. While Sonnen threw the kitchen sick and still managed to lose.

Anybody who watched the first fight knew that Silva looked off his game more than ever.

The regular limit is done by a blood test. His test was not. The body will only intake so much and the rest will just wash out. Which is what you got in the piss test.

ANDERSON "THE SPIDER" SILVA!

First, not an illegal knee. I thought it was at first but after the replay the point hit on the chest. Second, props to Chael for his effort in the first round. I didn't think Silva would allow himself to be taken down. Third, those interviews at the end weren't rigged imo.

My only disappointment about the fight is that I think the ref stopped it early. That being sad Sonnen wasn't getting up from that onslaught. I really think that, since he won, Silva wants to end the feud between the two.

Great Card, Great Fights!!!

Different weight class.

We already know the outcome against everyone else.
I think that people will move up or down weight classes to fight him if they're given the chance. GSP has said that one day he plans on fighting in the middleweight division, and Evans has said that he could see himself moving down at some point.

This loss is on Sonnen, everything went to plan the 1st round Silva came out aggressive and Chael took advantage of that and put him on the ground and punished him, 2nd round Chael tried for a few takedowns but couldn't get them and then for some odd reason (maybe out of frustration?) he tried a spinning back fist and completely whiffed and fell to the ground and the rest was history. If Sonnen doesn't go for that spinning back fist I think the fight would have been different, but give credit where credit is due Silva FINISHED the fight something Sonnen couldn't do.
