Do it the old-fashioned way if that's your pleasure? Or are you that sure you can't do in on the field? It's revealing that the UF coach has so little confidence in accomplishing his task that way.

If you guys would spend less time trying to silence Kiffin and more time recruiting, you might have a chance to win another game against him, but I doubt it. He's going to whip the crap out of CUM when he has players of equivalent caliber.

The world of football knows that. That scares CUM so badly, he just can't get CLK off his mind, so he puts Kiffin quotes all over your locker room.

It's a sad truth for you Gator fans, but it's fun to watch for us.

Based on Kiffin's track record so far, absolutely not. He's made false accusations about other coaches and all but accused the commissioner of conspiring to fix games.

Kiffin's comments were "statements of truth from his perspective"?

- Florida cheated in recruiting Richardson - false

- Bama should have been flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct and UT should have been allowed to re-kick the game-winning FG - false

- Mike Slive is conspiring with referees to fix games for Alabama and Florida - false

- The SEC refs suck this year - TRUE

It shuts up all the critics who think the SEC is a tool for UF.

It brings attention to an obvious officiating mistake against UF and shuts up the critics who thinks the officials are obviously pro-Gator.

It deflects attention away from the perceived leniency of Spikes suspension.

And best of all, it sets the table for a future punishment for Kiffin and shuts up the critics in advance that the SEC has a different standard for Lane.

If I was a Vol fan, I wouldn't be screaming for Meyer to get suspended. I'd be sniffing conspiracy here. Meyer isn't a loose cannon. Every damn word is measured before it comes out of his mouth. He knew that he was criticising an official. He knew what Slive's edict was and knew that he'd get this reaction.

You just need to ask yourself why he did it. I think I know.

Brought up in another thread, but here's Slive's stance on criticizing officials.

"For the foreseeable future there will be no reprimands," Slive added. "We will go right to suspensions and fines."

Note the word in between the words "suspensions" and "fines". There is no "or".

Kiffin full comments about Nuke was that CUM kept calling during his visit at UT. That was the truth. Cheating is defined as trying to get an unfair advantage. Disrupting a recruit while visiting a rival is doing exactly that. The only part that wasn't true in his statement was that it was not an NCAA violation. Okay... he just arrived from the NFL. It takes a little time to learn all this silly NCAA recruiting rules.

If you watch the TV replay of the game, the commentators said the same thing. UT outplayed and outcoached Bama and lost by failing to convert 3 makeable field goals. That's the truth that matters most concerning that game.

He never said that. That's your imagination working overtime, but there is problem with SEC officiating and Kiffin isn't the only one to notice.

Seriously... this is such a circus that Slive has created. I think CUM's comments about refs are fine, but I believe the same about Kiffin and the other coaches. They wouldn't be complaining if there wasn't something wrong. There's a problem with SEC officiating. People know that because almost every coach in the league has pointed it out.

Slive needs to spend more time addressing that and less time trying to establish rule of SEC coaches who basically need him to be a little better spokesperson for the league. He's doing far too much to distract from the game.

No, just fair and equal treatment among ALL conference coaches.

Seriously, there will be no reprimand, there will be no punishment as a fine or suspension. This comment will be ignored for the time being, waiting for the media to draw it's focus elsewhere and then a statement will be released from the SEC office stating Meyer's comments do not justify a penalty type reaction from the SEC office.

IMO, there will be no punishment involving Meyer. CLK was asked a question by a reporter today after practice. Well, those comments, while amusing are nothing more than facts. The KNS has ran with the story with very sensationalizing headlines.

This will divert attention away from the SEC office v.s. Meyer issue.

Don't be surprised to see Slive go public about CLK's comments with very harsh criticism and a possible fine/suspension.

Not a chance. Those comments by Lane today were completely within bounds.

Lane is getting set up....but they are going to build a better trap than this. If they take him down for something nit picky, it only builds his legend. They are going to make him earn it.

Lane Kiffin has stole your pride, your recruits, and CUMs dignity..

Republicans dont fear Obama in regards to challenging him. They fear the way he is governing the country.

A better example is Obama=Slive... they care less about the foundations of the country or conference and just want to feel powerful.

Obama wins Nobel peace pize for nothing... Slive gets SEC contract credit.... when he did nothing...

Obama is all about publicity... Slive is about ratings..

Urban, Maybe...just Maybe, Spikes poked the official in the eye on the previous series....where he could not have seen it happen... had it actually been a penality. :crazy: :vava: :dunno:
