So are you now courageous enough to say that USU will field a more talented team than UT when they meet? Or are you still spouting big words that depend on someone else backing them up?

I watched the linked video. Your DB's are small. Your WR's have good size and seemed to impose their will on your DB's. UT's WR's are as tall and are more muscular. They're also faster and quicker. There are other differences in the game but this is more than likely the big one.

Your LB's are probably the strength of your D. They have good size but are a step or two slower on the whole than SEC LB's.

If I correctly identified him, the RB you all claimed would have been a stud last year had good size. He probably has good straight line speed. He was not nimble... at all.


If UT's coaches do their jobs and if the players continue to develop... this isn't going to be the game you expect. You aren't going to win and you aren't going to keep it within 14 pts.

Our fanbase is in denial? You're a f-ing Utah "freakin" State fan! You play in the Mountain West! Your last 3 seasons, like ours, have been anomalies, only in opposite directions. Edit: speaking of delusional fanbases...3 hours west from UTs campus is another "SEC" football school, Vanderbilt University. They, like Utah State, are a traditional college football doormat. They've won the last 2 games vs UT, which makes 3 of the last 33. They now claim the the state of Tennessee as their state and believe they're gonna win the SEC this year, after having the greatest season in school history last year, 9-4, which landed them a 4th place finish in the SEC East. You should reach out to them.... you seem like bosom buddies already.

Austin Peay? What real difference does it make if UT plays a good FCS team or bad one? They still get a check... and a thumping. Would it have been more impressive if UT had played a 6-6 FCS team somehow? Maybe they should have scheduled mighty Weber State (2-10)? You would have thought it a great win then, huh?

USA? Pretty ugly game. It happens but I have beaten on Jones pretty hard for that debacle.

WKU... LOL@U. Unlike USU, they became FBS in 2007. For the last 3 years their record is 22-15. You are 27-13 over the same span. And how many years of futility did you have before that? Their program's rise has been FAR more impressive than yours.

We get them at home. Usu hasn't seen a stadium like ours. It will be the cal effect. Traveling across country, ranked(not sure if they are), on national tv, in front of 102k+, you can throw everything out the window about usu. ut will stomp usu into the ground. We are on the way up with a lot more help coming in fall camp. TKjr is a beast! It will be a good warm up game for our incoming fr. Gets them ready for ark. Lol!
