I legitimately think our defense can hold Petrino to 3 touchdowns, and I also think that our offensive line can manhandle the defensive front for Western, which will allow our running game to set the tone.

I expect our defense to get beaten a few times, but hold them in the 20s, while our offensive line crushes an overmatched defense to let us pile up points.

Agree. It was more important to evaluate a lot of players under game conditions than worry about the spread. I noticed that many of the second team players played much better in the 4th quarter than they did in the 3rd. quarter.

WKU only outgained KY by 68 yds. Rushing yards were dead even. Yes, when they tackle they do it well but let's not give WKU too much credit. KY is a serious rebuild this year. Way More so than UT. APSU played their best football against our scrubs. It was as Butch said today...a valuable teaching tool. We will get better and better as long as the injury bug stays away. Getting Jacques and Vereen back will be a major boost as well. Worley still needs some work but I think he'll be steady all year.
