I doubt they’d drop PSU, even with a blowout loss to Oregon. They’d say that PSU’s 11-2 record trumps Tennessee’s 10-2.
Good point. I’m going to be a big Texas fan Saturday. Maybe should root for Clemson too because a loss would probably drop SMU behind us. I think they stay in but no way they give SMU a home game if they lose to Clemson.I think Georgia falls behind Tennessee with a loss against Texas. That's probably our only hope for a home game unless Penn State gets demolished and falls.
If they wanted to screw the SEC they would have let Miami inBah. This is what happens when you let yankee northern and northeast media get their hands on things. They overvalued the Big 10 for decades before the SEC finally brought them down. Now they’ve got their grubby claws sunk deep into the politics again - and can steer the SEC as they see fit.
I don’t know why some of you are surprised. They were never going to drop OSU below TN. They wanted OSU higher and will use their two top ten wins as justification.
It's not about the conference, but about the team. Tennessee just won't get the respect until they win big again. Nearly 15 years in the gutter damaged our brand more than most want to admit.
