They are rejecting covid +. 2 cases just this week. Buuut they didn’t test a man they declared brain death on yesterday who has 7 organs available. Hmm.. weird.

I think they should, but where’s the line? As an employer can I require all my employees to have their tubes tied or vasectomies?

It lowers my cost of doing business.

They are using OSHA as a weapon for a lot of these companies that would not have instituted a mandate.

You see, LG, there were two types of companies before:
1. Those that were going to go through with a vaccine mandate
2. Those that were not

Unfortunately, the companies in Group 2 are now being forced to do so potentially because of Biden's Federal OSHA mandate.

Do you understand now?

Technically OSHA hasn’t done anything yet so any company doing mandates now is in category 1 even if they claim OSHA required. My ******* company is in that group.

From a former worker bee at a large company, the vaccine mandate is going to bite them in the ass if they want enough employees to survive. From what I've heard they can't hire enough people to keep production running, so they keep forcing mandatory overtime. Once the Biden mandate kicks in and they are forced to shut down due to lack of employees, they might as well just shut the plant down.

That is interesting. I was listening to a podcast yesterday as I was driving around for work and this one guy (he also works for a govt contractor) said that he was on a teleconference about a week ago and said he had never seen anything like it in his 25 year career. He said that people on the Zoom call or teleconference were flat out calling the presenters liars with regards to some of the things they were saying with regards to the vaccine and COVID. Just one more anecdotal piece of info I put into my pocket with regards to the engineering community and these vaccine mandates. I asked it before and told you all I knew of two companies that were nervous. Then you chimed in with a pulse of your company's attitude about the vaccines and then this on the podcast.

This sounds like it could be very interesting, because there are SEVERAL people in the over 55 crowd that work in these places and they threaten to walk/retire if this comes down the pike. Which is odd, because I would have thought that these older guys would have been more willing to take the jab since they are in the most at risk demographic.

I’ve got the jab. I’m actually fully compliant with what their desires are. However their mandates are complete over reach and way beyond the scope of their authority. And if they press much harder I’m going to throw my badge in somebody’s face and walk out… even though I’m completely in line with what they want. I really don’t want to work for this company anymore. I’m fourteen months away from my moved up retirement date (again moved up due to the company’s ******* policy attitudes on pensions and other benefits) and I’d like to just end my career quietly. But I’m beyond tired of these assholes.
