Sure. They’re always looking for ways to get rid of older expensive employees. But at the end of the day they have to make their numbers too. A bunch of college hires aren’t going to get them over the finish line if you’re a technology company like mine.Ever wonder if the corporatocracy is using Biden's mandate to get rid of as many employees as possible for the purpose of increasing profits?
Redistribution of wealth, upwards.
So how is the vaccine mandate overreach if no court has said that it’s unconstitutional?
Congress’s authority to regulate interstate commerce was delegated to OSHA in such a way as to allow them to issue these types of standards. They have that authority. So do you now support the vaccine mandate?
You give the stupidity in corporate America’s executive suite too much credit. Take my idiot company. Last week on Monday I get a refresh email on a very lucrative employee referral program. On Tuesday I get the “tell us your vax status by next Friday or you’re fired” reminder. Not an exaggeration on that email. It’s usually labor but with almost everyone scrambling for labor they aren’t using the mandate to shed workers.
How can the courts rule on something that doesn’t exist?
There is not yet an EO involving OSHA with vaccine mandates so Joe’s statements on it are still just hot air. The only actual EO mandating vaccines concerns government executive agencies.

Never ever underestimate the complete stupidity and level of detachment held by our corporate executives. Just when you believe the idiot bastards can’t be more stupid they lower the bar. Fourteen more months…
No, you're trying to squeeze in a distinction that makes you feel better about the mental gymnastics you're engaged in.
Either you believe the government should force their will into private business decisions or you don't. Being a feckless bandwagoner and riding your feels from one policy decision to the next is what I'd expect from the most unprincipled among us.
Does that describe you?
How so? If you are talking about C-suite inhabitants enriching themselves this way that is a silly argument. They have any number of levers they can pull to take more money the least of which they would want to use is getting rid of employees. There are so many others that are far easier.Ever wonder if the corporatocracy is using Biden's mandate to get rid of as many employees as possible for the purpose of increasing profits?

My industry is learning very quickly that ramping operations back up is a very difficult thing. On just my airplane alone, which is 20 out of 800, we are 20-some simulator instructors short of where we want to be in the spring. What is the very first action corporations take on a downturn. What is the single immediate cost item in front of them they think they can turn on a whim.
The vaccines work. Take the vaccine.
But but but, you know… FREEDOM!!!
At least 90,000 COVID-19 deaths since June were preventable: KFF analysis
At least 90,000 COVID-19 deaths among unvaccinated adults since June could have been prevented with vaccines that were widely available
Most of the preventable fatalities — about 49,000 — occurred last month
So only immunity given by the vaccine can save lives? Just assuming since there was zero mention of natural immunity. There was also no mention of any other contributing factors since it was a straight estimation using their own numbersThe vaccines work. Take the vaccine.

M4v is a branch covidiot ghoul and completely aware that all they are doing is picking at the scab and making things worse.Either you don't realize you're actually exacerbating the Backfire Effect at this point, or you're fully aware that you're exacerbating the Backfire Effect and just want to annoy your opposition.
This is exactly what we need in North America. The crew on the flight deck to be compromised by running off well trained and experienced veteran pilots and replacing them with Microsoft Flight Simulator aces. Brilliant. Let’s go Brandon. My industry is learning very quickly that ramping operations back up is a very difficult thing. Assumptions are fun. Especially when using a 91% efficiency rate against delta. And not controlling for any other variables. The vaccines work. Take the vaccine.
