Vaccine or not?

Not if you're allowing companies to set their own mandates.

Business sets it's own mandates every day. I mandate a dress code at the office, I mandate what time people start work, I mandate how they can use their personal phones.

What's funny is these supposed libertarian, moderate, and centrist types on here who say they are against any government mandate. But are okay with private businesses being involved in people's personal health decisions.
I've considered myself a libertarian for many years before COVID. But when you see the level of fascism (merging of state and corporations) going on right now, there is a glaring blind spot in the libertarian ideal. Also, it is amazing seeing how many of these libertarians are siding with the overreach of the state and corporations with regards to these COVID restrictions.

Wait. What are you suggesting? I had Quest Diagnostics (similar to LabCorp) run an antibody test on me last week. Haven't gotten results back yet...
If they give you your results without a reference range, then all you know is that you have a stated number. However, you don't know if that number is good or bad because you don't know what the normal range is.

He's stating that some labs are giving results without a reference range. That makes the result useless. Both Quest and LabCorp are two of the largest laboratory companies in the world. I'm assuming your test results will state a reference range.

Why are you glad people are being forced to do something they don't want to their bodies? At the very least, if you don't agree with being 'forced' you must admit they are doing it under duress don't you?

Why does that make you happy?
Because he feels like there's a chance that he made a dumb decision and wants to validate it by making everyone else make the same dumb mistake so he doesn't feel as dumb.

Remember when everyone should just take the shot and not all questions?

That was awesome.
...but the CDC and FDA recommend that we give it to kids as young as five....because....Science!

Our country is run by a bunch of politically motivated, incompetent fools!

What is your take on giving the vaccines to young children, kiddiedoc?

Irrelevant. Your argument was that overreach infringing on individual rights has to be government supported. I just showed you that your own opinion is wildly inconsistent.

PS: I guarantee your mandates don't extend beyond the workplace nor would they be legal or enforceable if they did.

My approach has been to present the current statistics, honest local situation, and risk of CV infection in children to parents, review the child's medical history and any risk factors, answer questions, and allow the parent to decide. I have also offered antibody testing to several patients.

Lolbertarians are surely fine with companies paying people only in scrip usable only at the company store because they "could just find new jobs, nobody is forcing them, it's just a company mandate".

So the government will fix it right? Or will they just support the Pinkertons?

Again, it is impossible for corporations to "overreach" without the .gov backing them. Every interaction you have with a corporation is voluntary.

I can legally mandate that my employees cannot use tobacco and yes I can enforce it by legally terminating those using tobacco outside of work and off the clock.

And how in the hell do you get inconsistency out of my posts? I have been rock solid consistent that I oppose all government mandates.

You ought to read some of my other posts before spouting off.

It's a belief system for people with lazy morals and no backbone that are fine with Facebook owning them "as long as it ain't big gubmint!".

Only cares about himself for sure.

Companies got away with paying in company script because they had the local, state and federal government backing them. Read up on the mine wars in WV and VA during the early 1900s, when the employees fought back the government brought in troops to get them back under ground.
