Vaccine or not?

No it isn’t Einstein. “Government is government” is just the opposite of a fact as there are clear divisions of power within the three federal branches as well as federal vs state.

I used to think you had some common sense too until you completely broke down with this stupid ass rationale in defending the idiot in the WH and then keep doubling down on the stupidity because you’re in too deep.

Septic gets more clown like with each passing week. I believe he thinks he is owning the Trumpsters, or whatever he calls them.

I can't believe you're being this dense.

The government is government point you've planted your flag on as some sort of budget gotcha is secondary to the point that it doesn't matter which government requires "it" if you're still required to get it.

Let me dumb this down for you, please read the next line SLOWLY.

What difference does it make if it's the feds or the state makes you get it, if you still have to get it?!

If you still can't wrap your head around this, maybe ask a friend (or their children.)

It’s crazy. We know he’s smarter than to use this kind of stupid rationale, to defend a clearly over extended mandate that the admin doesn’t have the authority to press. And now he simply can’t let it go he’s too invested. I expect this kind of stuff from Luther. But not septic. Yet here we are! 🤷‍♂️

Maybe you should invent another argument for me to feel better about not understanding the subject matter.

Don't be lazy.

LOL

The fact that you think I've defended a potential requirement makes me believe you're trolling and you realize that you're intentionally being obtuse.

So you mock the point of “government is government” as not being what you’re saying then double down with a bolded “government is government” stance. And oh HELL no Chief your bobbing and weaving doesn’t cut the mustard I’ve already pointed out that this is clearly within the states authority as Jacobson vs Mass determined and has been upheld and then pointed to my states government as contradicting the federal stance. That was my entry point into this whole drain spiraling diatribe you’re on day two of now.

Yet here you are doing it. Just line up at CVS and get the jab 🤷‍♂️🤡

Where have I advocated or defended for a potential federal requirement?

Just one example will be fine.

You're reinforcing that you actually have no idea at all what I've been asserting.

Oh so “government is government” doesn’t encompass the federal government when “you line up at CVS to get the jab”?

LMFAO

You've been underwater since the beginning; if nothing else you've demonstrated to every rational person here what it looks like to have a profound inability to comprehend the written word, zero self awareness and an inexplicable inability to accept that you whiffed.

Watching you flounder on making the distinction and difference between the end result of which government entity requires you to get a shot is hilarious. Frankly, I'll keep shining a light on your train wreck of an argument for as long as you can muster to call names and insert emojii's at the end of every nonsensical rant.

It does, why wouldn't it?

You've conflated me explaining the reality of a hypothetical federal requirement with advocating for it. This despite me explaining that I don't.

Hopefully at some point, you're going to have a moment of clarity where you reconcile this fact and you're going to feel pretty silly.

I can appreciate you trying to shift the issue away from your absolute train wreck of an argument I really can. But no government is most definitely not government (thank God) with regards to the power vested to them and over whom they can exercise that power. And no the Public Health Act wouldn’t grant the idiot in chief the power that you’re arguing it does or they wouldn’t have used the OSHA act to push this. But I guess you could simply be smarter than everyone in the admin! I’m willing to admit that is a genuine possibility!

You keep deflecting away from your assertion that I was advocating or defending a hypothetical requirement. Which was seemingly the basis behind the rabbit hole you dug, fell into and refuse to admit you're stuck in.

Again, I'll ask you to articulate a difference between a federal requirement and a state if the end result is you have a requirement to get a vaccine. As the needle pierces your skin, will it really matter if the order came from the State Capitol or the US Capitol?

Your constant bleating about nonsense extraneous to that singular point is just fodder, also - you forgot the emoji's in your last post.

You DID defend a hypothetical argument. You provided a legislation act you claimed as a basis granting them power to do this… even though they used a completely different act.

You are now trying to shift the argument to an irrelevant point. “Oh I’m just saying does it matter who told you to get it if you still had to get it.” That’s patently stupid as hell since the issue is if an entity is forcing you to do something while not having the power to do so, and then an entity which has actually been granted that power by SCOTUS rulings says no you don’t have to do that, then your non sequitur hot take that your trying to shift to is irrelevant. It absolutely matters whom is forcing you to get it once the entities have competing stances and you know it.

Edit: and it pleases me that my emojis are having the desired effect. Here have another 😈

I’m late to this and admittedly not willing to reread every post in here but isn’t the difference of WHERE/WHO the dictate comes from the fact that some WHERE’s/WHO’s won’t dictate it? Obviously if all 50 states were granted the autonomy to implement a vaccine mandate and they all chose to, the end result would be the same and who issued it wouldn’t matter in the end. But the fact is, we know that at least half the states wouldn’t issue one if left to their own volition’s. This edict takes the right to manage/govern each state out of the hands of those elected to lead it. I believe Bill Lee, Ron DeSantis, Greg Abbott etc know their states, people and situations on the ground better than the federal government and they were duly elected by those people to lead them. Why does the federal gov’t get to mandate a personal health decision for the people of those states that they clearly reject? There’s a reason people are moving in masses to those states since 2020 and it’s not only for lower taxes and the weather.

Why does the state get to override local govt, school boards, businesses, etc? Taking it to the local level is way preferable to state or fed

It would go by whatever power is vested into state level and local city/county level government by each state’s constitution. I’d guess over 50 states that might not be uniform but don’t really know.

That's not what the post was referencing. All power at a local level in FL had been stripped by the gov yet his actions are being applauded. I see them as very similar to what's coming from DC except for the iron delivering the message. That should be concerning

The most local level is the individual level. Which is exactly where it should reside.

Yes that’s exactly what the post was referencing. The power doesn’t reside with the Feds it resides with the states. For the state of Florida as I added it will go by what the Florida Constitution sets forth as to the distribution of power. It would appear you just don’t like what the Florida Governor chose. If you live in Florida then you can write your state house rep or Senator and express your concern. If not I’d guess you don’t have a dog in the hunt it’s that simple.
