Are they generally asymptomatic in the unvaccinated? In the example of the cruise ship that had 44 asymptomatic cases, all of them were vaccinated (since that's a prerequisite for cruising these days)

I now know a handful of people that have likely had the "omicron" variant, and most of them were over it within 2-3 days with extremely mild symptoms.

I'm taking a test momentarily because I've got some of the symptoms- but it may just be a regular cold.

If they’re not inferring that it prevents transmission why the push to get it? Does Joe Biden actually care if I die from Covid if I choose to take my chances? No. If they’re willing to admit there’s no (or minimal) efficacy on transmittal prevention then the need for a mandate disappears. At that point it boils down to an individual choice and personal risk assessment that impacts the individual only. He made a promise that he was going to get something under control that nobody can and now he’s doubled down on this being the way to control it, even though it’s patently false.

First of all - "they" imply, you infer.

Based on your comments and cited text and what has been a consistent refrain from the WH, "they" want American's to get vaccinated because it keeps people from getting very, very ill in the vast majority of cases. Keeping folks from getting very ill, keeps the hospitals from being overwhelmed. Stability keeps the economy humming and the markets stable - things that everyone should want.
