I don't want you to capitulate anything. I don't care if you get a vaccine or not. My post did not have a goal other than to point out the direct contradiction between your comment and the scripture you referenced.

To whom are you trying to prove a contradiction? And why do you feel the urge to prove it?

In Wafflestomper's defense the stats presented on all the vaccines preventing serious illness are very high. On preventing covid infection they are more moderate with J&J not doing as well because variants were around during testing of the J&J vaccine - especially in S Africa where variants were greatest.

The vaccine was also 98% effective in preventing fever or breathing problems and 98.9% effective in preventing hospitalizations and death, the ministry said.

I got the first Pfizer injection Tues with no real side effects - my shoulder was slightly sore the next day, but I never felt the injection itself. I liked what I had read about Moderna and the development, and that is what I would have picked until J&J came along. I probably would have gone with J&J by choice (just a hunch or bias or whatever), but I took what was offered.

I've already answered you... just because you don't like my answer doesn't mean you'll get another one. I'm not trying to prove a contradiction, its self-evident. I'm pretty sure my original post called out your contradiction. What else do want? Should I call you names instead?

I was surprised at the amount of relief I felt emotionally, my wife actually cried after she got her first shot. Basically, I think a lot of people just have a ton of stress from the pandemic and I think the shot releases those emotions and you just feel like things are getting better. I don't think I explained this really well

He said the chances of becoming seriously ill or dying without the vaccine is higher than with it ... hundreds of millions of people will prove that out to be false right now . Now I guess if we were to qualify that and say with certain age groups or comorbidities I’d go along with the premise .

Answer my question. What was your intent? I'm not sure why this is so difficult. I'm asking you to disprove that you're a vile person, which you are declining to do. Are you a vile person? If not, then you shouldn't cower away from sharing your intent.

No, if I were elderly or had underlying health conditions that put me in a high risk group, I’d take it. But if I were a relatively healthy person, definitely a woman wanting to have children later, no way I take it. I’ll risk the after effects of Covid vs the aftereffects of a drug tested 6 months. But hey, that’s just me.

Good for you. Like I said if you're this upset, you should probably be more concerned about your own comments and actions than mine.

I've never had a bad reaction to a shot and I was vaccinated something close to 20 times in a few days before travelling to Germany in the mid 60's. Lord knows how many times I was vaccinated before that. How come some people I know get sick every other week and have colds and get the flu every year? I'd like to see the stats for the military folks and their dependents vs the non military and their kids as to who gets sick.
