Do you go to Vanderbilt doctors? Both my liver and kidney doctors were adamant about me getting vaccinated. I'm not pushing the vax, simply telling my story. I'm firmly in the camp of it being a personal choice and not something that should be mandated. But I chose to go with the advice of my doctors.I have been recently diagnosed with renal failure and placed in dialysis... not one dr recommended the vax.... that includes the ER docs.... crazy
Im down in Florida....but might be moving back to Knoxville area...im the same i dont advocate for or against the vax...people should do what they feel is best for them....my sister is vaxed im not...we dont try and convince one another either wayDo you go to Vanderbilt doctors? Also, thoughts and prayers on your diagnosis.
I'm probably making a mistake by saying this due to your condition because you will likely take it the wrong way, but have these doctors that saved your life told you to get on a low carbohydrate/high protein diet? Or, have they just pumped you with meds and cycled you through the doctor visit carousel?Received my fourth shot yesterday. Recommended by Vanderbilt for all their kidney patients. Feel like crap today. Every one of these shots has left me feeling like crap. But I got them anyway on the advice of my doctors. Who really knows if they're worth it, but the way I see it, these people saved my life almost 5 years ago when I was going to die, so if I trusted them then, I'll continue to trust them now. I'm a liver transplant patient with kidney disease, heart failure, diabetes, and a host of other medical problems. I'm probably living on borrowed time anyway.
Yes, they have told me that. No, I haven't been as good at following that advice.I'm probably making a mistake by saying this due to your condition because you will likely take it the wrong way, but have these doctors that saved your life told you to get on a low carbohydrate/high protein diet? Might want to give it serious consideration. I've been on that path over the last 6 months. Changed my life for the better.Yes, they have told me that. No, I haven't been as good at following that advice.
