Just trying to explain why you got the short terse answer from space. You jump in at 2+ years and you get what you get. There you go, detouring onto a dirt road away from the highway. Typical tactic of rightests who just like to twist statements into things they never were. Pardon me for uh, putting, erm, "space" between us on your trying to make it sound like I wanted to force-feed your attitude about the Covvie. And on that note I abandon you to the void of "space" to continue shouting in a vacuum. Engaging warp drive - waa-wooosh!

@SpaceCoastVol , or "Giggles" as I like to call him, isnt short or terse, he drops more LOLs than his favorite VP.Just trying to explain why you got the short terse answer from space. You jump in at 2+ years and you get what you get.
Curious response from you that doesn’t make allot of sense but you do you.
You think public health professionals should have run a vaccine campaign in which the theme was “We have a COVID vaccine, you can take it, or don’t, it’s up to you.” Really?I totally agree. It should have always been about personal choice. The level of garbage rhetoric was off the meter with covid. Quite frankly after 2+ years of hearing it my care o meter for bs is busted.
How about "we have a vaccine that will help you protect grandma, that hasnt been fully tested yet, so we recommend you talk to your doctor about it before getting it"?You think public health professionals should have run a vaccine campaign in which the theme was “We have a COVID vaccine, you can take it, or don’t, it’s up to you.” Really?

They still get to push it, but admit it isnt fully approved, only one still is, and it brings in the PCP. Seems like that covers the bases.
And if they really wanted to be upfront with the public they could throw in the disclaimer that if the one and million happens to them the manufacturers are protected from being sued.
And if they wanted to be even more upfront they could have listed all the government funding of the shots, then noted all the pfizer/moderna/J&J money going back into those pushing it, and let people know what is really going on.
They painted a completely one sided picture and refused to even admit that the vaccines werent 100.0000000000000% safe or tested.
Never mentioned nurses strawman. That’s what you think a community health nurse’s job should be during a novel virus pandemic? Dear lord.
Never mentioned nurses strawman.
Do you mean you think their job should be unilaterally pushing untested means and methods as if they were proven? Or should they treat it like a novel virus and explore more options than a vaccine?
I did, that’s what “public health” professionals implies. Who do you think does the work in your community?Never mentioned nurses strawman.

Perfectly said.Since the shot first rolled out part of the agenda has been you are killing grandma by not getting the shot, you are responsible for my health and so on. A person who holds a greater degree of personal belief that they are responsible for society’s health does not jive with my beliefs. I think space and I are on the same page with the belief that if an individual doesn’t want to catch covid then follow the cdc guidance and get the shots. Stay at home, wear 2 masks, don’t be around people, do what you need to do but I’m not responsible for your health because I won’t allow someone to force a shot on me that was highly questionable. @SpaceCoastVol will correct me if I’m wrong on this.
I very much mentioned PCP, as far as I know most people dont have a PCN (primary care nurse). Legimately not sure how much the health industry would trust nurses vs doctors on this. And that's not a knock on nurses. They would be much better talk and listen to than nobody or even the CDC making one size fits all determinations, but I have always scheduled my appointments with a doctor.I did, that’s what “public health” professionals implies. I don’t think we’re on the same page here. Ok… Yeah, PCPs are fine, important even. But there are HC professionals (mostly community/public health nurses, but also epidemiologists, biologists, social workers, etc.) whose entire job is to promote health within a population. They could be employed by your city, county, state, religious establishment, civic organization, school… but their purpose is to monitor and assess the overall health and health trends within a given population and try to address any prevailing issues. They also help create emergency preparedness plans as well as addressing communicable diseases within the community.I very much mentioned PCP, as far as I know most people dont have a PCN (primary care nurse).
