I think we may be surprised (even at this late date) how many California kids (JUCOs) will come to Tennessee this fall to play.

We will be offering tons of playing times, with a proven coach, in the SEC with TV face time.

After looking at the first Hyams statement, it could be possible that they do the interview tonight or tomorrow. Doesn't make sense that Cronan would miss the interview.

I tend to trust Rogers. It was pretty weird timing on many levels. I have a theory, but it's pretty half baked.

So...these guys I'm putting out there cover baseball, either for a team site, baseball america, newspaper, etc...All of them are denying the Hyams version in one way or the other. Is it a big deal? I don't think so. If i link it all together correctly, UT wants to have this done before the CWS. It's a question of logistics as to whether an announcement is made on Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday, etc...I do have a theory on Hyams, but it will have to wait a bit.

The NCAA hearing is over. tons of little twitters by the knoxville writers, nothing about baseball at all. That's interesting.

SC leads 5-1 in the 5th. I suspect we'll hear more once the game is over and now that the hearings are done. I could be wrong, I didn't think any of this would happen today, I figured it would be crickets.

Don't know the rules about pay site rules, I won't state what they said, I'll simply say they are on exactly the same page as Hyams except for one minor detail. they agree that Holbrook will interview on Tuesday, as almost all the national folks have been saying. Confusing.

Serrano has been available for a week. Somebody wants to get Holbrook in here. He's one win away from the CWS.
