It's insane this hasn't happened already. It's almost a unifying issue across party lines at this point. Like I said, I don't and will not partake, but there is no reason pot shouldn't be decriminalized. If there ever was proof that lobbyists run this country and not the people this would be it.

I'd love to see pot decriminalized but it's not happening. They might make it legal but won't simply decriminalize, that would open a Pandora's Box teh .gov isn't opening.

And if the Feds allow the states to decide the legality, police check points just inside borders of some states will become a thriving industry. It needs to be legalized period. It's a damn plant.

I think what he meant was it's a naturally occurring plant. Most of the other drugs derived from plants have to be extracted by scientists. With Marijuana, plant a seed, water it, trim it, smoke it. That's not the case with cocaine and some opioids.

I honestly don’t care either way I just find the argument by potheads etc to be dumb. “It’s just a plant”, “xxxxx is worse”....the usual. I’d have more respect for the proponents to just say they like to get high.

They shouldn't do that or take away your deadly mushrooms either. Oppressive tyrants will however when they have the support of a narcissistic, self-righteous majority. They'll also need your guns and ammo.

I tried (skeptically) cbd to see if it would help chronic pain in some joints a couple of months ago. I was amazed when that pain disappeared a day or so after using the product. YMMV but thank goodness for the plant.

Legal pot would be harmful to many working in the law enforcement, incarceration, legal, and pharmaceutical industries. Reeling in the pain pill business will hurt all those as well as the funeral industry.

I'm not buying this. I am not a pothead. I can't smoke because of my job. But I think it should be legal as well. Watch COPS sometime and count how much of their time is spent in piddly arrests for having a bag full of weed. Wouldn't their time... and the subsequent incarceration system's time... and then court time... DA time.. PD time... be better spent dealing with violent offenders? Prosecuting weed just seems to be a waste of time and money to me.

I disagree with Hog in that I think meth should be illegal.. heroin should remain illegal, because we don't have the intestinal fortitude to let dumbasses that do that **** die in the streets.

Yep, so in 20 years the feds can sue the weed growers because it causes addiction. We need more drugs legalized do we spend more money on addiction treatment. But if its for the common good and we money from taxes, that all that matters.
