Printing money doesn't make someone solvent or wealthy. We don't even make our own medsBTW, newsflash: We're the wealthiest country in the world. So when you talk about being broke, I guess you're just referring to your own impecunity.

Not hardly but it's apparent that you are. We we're not even close to "trying to stay neutral" during the onset of WWII.
Heh. Read up and learn something today, bro. America was formerly neutral until September, 1940. WWII started in 1939 dude.
Neutrality Acts of the 1930s
When you are over a trillion dollars in debt you are broke.
Prior to March 1941 our allies actively fighting Germany and Japan had to purchase (with hard currency no credit) all war material they got from us. They also had to transport it from here to wherever they were sending it, couldn't even go on US flagged vessels. We should be doing the same now.
LMAO.
So you've unilaterally declared America is now "broke".
Bummer man.
Also: 100% poppycock, of course.
Before passage of the Neutrality Act of 1939, Roosevelt persuaded Congress to allow the sale of military supplies to allies like France and Britain on a “cash-and-carry” basis: They had to pay cash for American-made supplies, and then transport the supplies on their own ships.
LOL that wasn't worth the paper it was written on. Neutral would imply that we would sell war material to any party or refuse to sell war material to any involved party.
It's called waste. Call it what you want but much of the spending is useless and does not benefit the actual taxpayers. Ukraine is a perfect example of the waste from corrupt politicians who are bought and paid for
No it's in the interest of Europe. We aren't being threatened except by our entanglements
Was our invasion of the USSR worth it? Was that money and lives well spent?... and you could have said the exact same thing right before both WWI and WWII.
And just for sh*ts and giggles, was all that money we taxpayers spent during the 40+ year Cold War with USSR... was all that money just a waste too?
Was USSR a threat... yes or no?
The brits, nor the french, were not ready to fight in 1936 or 38. At least not on the ground.
And I would've. Ww1 was an absolute useless cluster and the reason we fought ww2 in Europe. Short sighted foreign policy gets us in these messes. Stop advocating for more... and you could have said the exact same thing right before both WWI and WWII.
