Druzba pipeline serves Hungary and several other NATO/EU countries. Civilian infrastructure. Does it matter if it the taps are destroyed in Russia or if the pipeline is bombed some where else downstream? Or are you just trying to make a distinction without a difference when the end result will be the same?

you mean the conversation where our ambassador was telling the Secretary of State who the early candidates were? The conversations discussing how each would be to work with? Yeah, real nefarious that our ambassador knows who the main candidates are, and has opinions on them.

might want to look into who was actually discussed. Because only one of the ones discussed in that phone call was ever elected or given power. And it was to a position they held before Yanukovych, and he didn't even get a full 5 year term. Real good conspiracy, get someone their old job back for 2 out of 5 years in the term.

its proof of nothing but that our ambassador was doing their job.

seems like if we were behind running Yanukovych out we would have had his replacement in line already, and wouldn't need to discuss it.

You mean the pipeline they have shut down and are looking for long term supply replacements. Who cares who it supplies, they've shut them down no? And they are every bit as legitimate military target as any civilian building targeted by Putin, even moreso as it's how Russia bankrolls it's military.

So the official western propaganda line this morning is the Patriot system shot down all Russian missiles lastnight? Good Lord. This is Baghdad Bob level denial. Not only was the Patriot system completely useless but itself was destroyed by a missile strike. Lol.

all hypersonic missiles. the articles I read still mentioned a fair number of "standard" missiles getting through to do damage and kill in Kiev.

It kinda read like the Patriots were being used again the hypersonic missiles only, or at least those are the only ones they are effective at?

The only damage I have seen confirmed for the Patriot system, yesterday, was one of the launch pads they have used was damaged, but they didn't mention any equipment losses.

If Russia were able to take them out with any consistency don't you think they would have by now? And if they are useless why is Russia trying to take them out anyway?

Its just like when they were destroying all the HMARS as soon as they crossed the border. or destroying them shortly after launching in counterbattery fire so they couldn't fire again. Or how there were so few left they were completely meaningless. I think the last round was, they are being jammed in some locations, so it doesn't even matter.

Its always fun watching them have to spin the truth.

So if that’s the claim then they didn’t get near the brains of the system. The fire control RADAR.

Patriot uses a central fire control RADAR and processor hooked up to about four or five launchers. Each launcher capable of a volley of four interceptors.

CNN may not be much better, but our DoD has admitted to there being some damage to some part of the Patriot system.

I didn’t see mention of which component got damaged in there did I miss it? You had mentioned/speculated a launcher was damaged in another post I replied to?

And why the idiot orcs aren’t simply using SEAD weapons like our AGM-88 against the air defense batteries I’ll never know. Yet another example of their total incompetence
