War in Ukraine

Investors in America are warning that the chaos being caused by Donald Trump could end up destroying the stock market – or at least it could create enough volatility to cost a lot of people a lot of money. This isn’t just a 1%er problem – millions of working class people have their pensions and retirement accounts invested in the market, and Trump’s inability to lead could cost these people everything. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

Decided to go off.....

Did you not see that Trump was baiting him into an opening for Vance? Zelensky calmly corrected Trump's pro-Russia lies, and Vance went off on his prepared remarks and it went downhill from there.

Trump and Putin loved it, because it gives them the opportunity to portray Zelensky as the barrier to peace and for Trump and Putin to claim that they are being reasonable but Zelensky isn't.
So you’re upset Vance confronted Zelenskyy with truth, but you somehow keep reciting prepared remarks. Zelenskyy came looking for a check and got a reality check. He was not prepared and it showed.

We don't have a free press here either.

The comment was tongue in cheek. More or less. When it comes to objectivity on certain matters, it's likely TASS is more objective.

Which one is likely more objective on Trump? Or more appropriately, which one would come immediately to mind if you asked "which news agency is biased against Trump, TASS or CNN?"

About Trump? You got TDS or something? The topic is about Russia/Ukraine. Trump thinks it's about him and so does a good portion of the right, for some reason.

We don't have a free press?

Oh, we have the rabbit ears free press, but you and I both know just how far the "free" portion goes on that. Don't even pretend otherwise.

And I used Trump as an example. Good grief...

The DJIA is down .42 since Trump took office. It’s up 3.83% since he was elected.

Priorities, priorities, priorities ... My guess is also that the EU countries spend more on climate change as well than their support for Ukraine.

This will be a good time for the EU, Canada, and other countries to take the lead with Ukraine. As a capitalist, we will sell them any weapons needed to where they can give them away.

I'm not a Trump supporter but hasn't the schtick from the left, possibly even you that trump was just a reactionary bully, that he isn't capable of thinking through complexities etc?

So now he's a master baiter?

I'm not convinced this was staged, but I'd say is possible. I think it a little more likely that Trump was counting on a quick deal with signatures but Zelenski balked and the rest was just frustration from both sides

I also believe it a bad idea to have that due down with cameras if a deal hadn't been agreed to.
Idk if it was staged or not but there definitely was a point where the tone dramatically changed. Didn’t seem prepped or scripted. That “you will feel it” definitely pissed off Trump and company
