Where did I say an invasion was justified? The conflict in Eastern Ukraine has been going on for almost a decade and Russia is not entirely to blame for it.

I agree that Russia isn't entirely to blame for what was happening in eastern Ukraine, 75% but not entirely. They hold 100% of the blame for invading.

So we went to war with the Taliban in Afghanistan, occupied the area, and then we turn the country over back to them 20 years later... and arm them.

None of it makes sense. You can't even justify it.

You are well within your rights to condemn this invasion of Ukraine. But you can't do it if you have no issues with what we have done over the last 30 years in the ME.

Of course I can, the Taliban needed to be removed and had direct involvement with the attack on 9/11. We didn't do a good job or replacing the government but that is a different argument.

I've actually spoke out against Putin in other threads. For example the Russian government has banned Jehovah Witnesses by claiming they are an extremist group and imprisoning many of them as well. They are also not the only country or regime to have targeted the religious group over the years.

I was going to say, if true, this would be one of the most incredible things I have ever read on the incompetence of almost any modern military. How in heaven's name would you have a Maj Gen anywhere near where bullets are flying or bombs dropping? Thats why you gotta doubt a whole lot of stuff that is coming out.

I am sure if I watched RT, I would hear all the Russian versions of lies but our media is only magnifying the Ukrainian ones.

Again, I have no issues because winning the propaganda war is part of war, and there really are no rules no matter what anyone says that trump winning. Avoid war but if you are in one, win it. I just make sure I do not accept anything at face value.

I am not watching anything but no sane person can claim that Russia had no choice in invading, that is ridiculous. It is quite clear the Ukranian military posed no threat whatsoever the Russian government. It's a ridiculous argument as is the argument that there are fascist groups in Ukraine. I am sure there are just like every nation on Earth.
