War in Ukraine

You don't believe that we were funding GoF and bio-weapon research labs in Ukraine? I hate to tell you but this is one where Ras is correct.
I doubt we’re funding bio weapon research in Ukraine. No need to we’ve got the Chinese and Wuhan for that. Ukraine just doesn’t make much sense.

Yeah, you didn't bother to watch the interview because she talked about that clarification on Tucker. However, to me, that is just posturing. There is a very subtle distinction people are trying to make between bio lab and bio weapons lab.
I’ve no doubt you can rationalize whatever sound bite you hear to keep your support of your man crush squared away.

I think everyone knew there where biolabs left over from the former Soviet Union, but not everyone knew how those former Soviet biolabs had been maintained and controlled.

Not really. The funding we supposedly used before was to dismantle those labs and remove and destroy the dangerous material. Clearly that did not happen.

Also, Tucker did make an interesting point - If the bioagents in these facilities are simply the ones the Russians had years ago, why would we be concerned they would fall back into Russian hands? Presumably they still have plenty of anthrax and botulism. Note that the under secstate did not lead with a fear they could be simply released into Ukraine but rather that they might fall into Russian hands. Very curious don't you think?

Unlike liberals, conservatives can disagree with one of our own on one issue without purging them from the party. 100 percent ideological purity is a trait of the left, not of conservatives. We actually live in a big tent. Try speaking out against abortion or the LGQBLTEIEIO mafia and see how the Democrat party rewards you.
The House Republicans who spoke out against Trump would disagree.

That is my point. You all want to run and hide in here, but this story is going to end up gaining more steam. Not necessarily here in the states or in the West, but countries on the outside are going to chew on this and make a stink.
Kind of like the indiscriminate shelling of residential areas that wasn't happening?

This was down to be false during the last admin.

You also confuse conservatives with your party choice. That was also exposed during the last admin

They are still Republicans in good standing and except for the ones that went overboard making this a personal vandetta like Cheney did, most will be re elected.
And I was talking about bucking the party on a core policy issue, not bucking the party over its choice of leader. Trump is a temporary and passing speed bump in American polity. Core policy differences are not

Nope, no one was purged from the party over policy. And so far, no one has yet been purged over personal issues. With one or two exceptions, the anti Trumpers will be easily re-elected

I have no idea about the funding or how much they said would be removed and destroyed, but I would assume that some amount was removed and destroyed. I would also assume that some amount was used for research. We would never like for any of our research to end up in Russian hands, rather it be for offensive or defensive weaponry.

Of course the US is downplaying it. That's what any country with labs like these.... And many do. Hell, we even had joint operations with China. Russia has them, what's the story here besides an agenda?

Except they were marginalized and purged for not marching in lockstep with the admin. Yes that happened many times

So can you name any elected Republican politician who has lost their office after opposing Trump? Who exactly is “they”?
And yes, Cheney will be thrown out. Not for opposing Trump but for basically crossing over and joining the Democrats on their sham investigative “committee”. There is a difference between not agreeing with your party and going out of your way to destroy it.

It makes perfect sense. When the USSR crumbled Ukraine was in possession of state of the art labs, highly educated workers and they are not a NATO member so no treaties to worry about violating. Ukraine has also been plagued with a corrupt government since it's independence from the Soviet Union so it's a perfect place to set up shop.

You're not reading what I'm posting. They have been marginalized and purged from caucuses, party, etc. If you're unaware then maybe you should look into it before making such bold claims

One big example would be actual conservatives

They are definitely corrupt. I once heard that they even fired a state prosecutor who was investigating a corrupt deal whereby the unqualified son of a foreign Vice President was appointed to the board of one of the country’s largest energy firms. The foreign VP threatened to cut off a billion dollar loan if the Ukrainians doesn’t stop investigating his son, and they immediately did so.
That is the very definition of corruption, so you are 100 percent correct
