I think we can agree to disagree here. I don't think an employer should be asking employees to go through procedures.

With that said, I also don't think an employer is on the hook if an employee catches covid nor is WC.

Perhaps this isn't about can or can't but should or shouldn't and I bet we would find common ground if we take the discussion as a should or shouldn't.

You go ahead and keep claiming that an employer can implement policy without limit. You're wrong they can't. They can't break state or federal law and they are liable for injury/death that results from their direction of the workforce as they should be.

What are you guys don’t realize is I’m not a democrat or a republican. I’m an independent. I believe in the Constitution to the letter. And I know both parties have infringed on that in the past. Somethings I understand, other things I don’t.

No where in the constitution does it say anything about corporations. The constitution is written for the individual American. Therefore what Biden didWas much worse than what DeSantis did as a result. Every action has a reaction and this was a REaction to dictatorship

This conversation is proof that racism wasn’t working to divide us like it used to. They now are using a virus that is basically viral pneumonia and a vaccine that is basically a therapeutic to divide us.

We are better than this folks. I say we all come together and tell anyone in power that is using these things to create division to step aside.

It’s time we start going back to living like Americans. Freedom and Liberty is what we stand for.

Hard to say and I could be wrong but I do believe Desantis swore in with integrity. I don’t believe Biden did. I believe Desantis is trying to preserve our way of life. The way it was written. Biden has done nothing but undermine everything we stand for.

Apologies, I wasn't trying to insinuate you are racist at all. It is just right now we have Democratic control in Congress and the White House, so the majority of the separatist/civil strife talk I see online is from the Right ("red folks''). Back when Trump and the GOP were in power, the majority of the separatist/civil strife talk I saw was from the Left ("blue folks" wanting California, Oregon, and Washington to go their own way was quite popular on the Lefty side of bird app and Reddit from 2016-2020). We will probably repeat this cycle in perpetuity.

I still don't think we will see widespread civil unrest. (Cities sometimes have riots after winning sports championships of all things, it is going to happen at some level regardless who is in DC at the moment.)

The going to war with just about every school district in the State is a bad look.

For the same reason the federal government should stay out States business, DeSantis should stay out of decisions made by local school boards and municipalities. A one answer fits all is the same thing he bemoaned during the first part of the pandemic.
