You need a reality check, all and I mean all top 10 programs in the country bend the rules, have shady dealings ext. Check out your local AAU team and the coach.

All polls taken thus far, support Bruce overwhelmingly. Most fans 74% want Pearl to remain the HC.

Hamilton has a list of replacements for all sports he oversees. But if Pearl goes, Hamilton is immediately on the chopping block. I do not want lame duck Hamilton hiring a basketball coach. The university would be wise to replace the AD (several week process) then have the new AD hire a coach. We would have an interim staff in place for a potentially long time.

Yea, we have obviously destroyed the morale of this team. Guess practice, games, and study gives them plenty of time to read all posts on Volnation.

I'm a Vol fan not because of the current coach and not because of the current players but because I live in this great state and because of the memories I have through the years growing up listening to John Ward on the radio and the many fine athletes who have given their all wearing orange. I don't switch teams because I don't like the coach or because the team isn't winning every game. I would pull for the Vols even if Spike Lee were the BB coach. That said, it's much more exciting when you're winning and if Spike Lee were the coach then I probably wouldn't be on this board right now.

I have never desperately defended Pearls actions and I believe he was stupid for doing what he did.Hindsight is 20/20 and I believe he would change things if he could but unfortunately he cant rewrite history.I think all this has affected this team more than they would admit.It just seems like pointless redundancy to rehash this daily.The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results.The same people trash Pearl daily and the reality of it is he is our coach right now and not going anywhere until June anyway.So to whine, piss and moan because you dont like the coach right now is just childish and insane.He is not going anywhere until then and the Dickey V's of the world and their opinions will not change that.I know the haters would love to have that kind of influence over the situation but they dont.I quite frankly find it funnier than hell that it disturbs so many of the haters and is evident in their posts......:yes:

I don't think people who hold integrity above wins and can't support Pearl due to the terrible mess he has created for the basketball program and the university are "haters". What's really interesting is folks like you who label anyone who doesn't support Pearl in this situation as "haters". I don't care who the coach was, I would not support them in this situation. Therefore, I suppose I am a "hater" of all basketball coaches.

It seems to me that a lot of the Pearl haters were and still are Kiffin supporters so for me to buy into this so called coaching integrity crap is just absurd....:crazy:
