Except we ran for 253 yards. Not sure which team you’re watching but that’s called balance. We run 55% of the time so believe he’s doing his job.

I believe half you morons expect 4k passing every year or WRs that set school records yearly. It takes everyone doing their job to get that kind of production. Remember Hookers first year ? Thats about where we are with a few better pieces, namely a DL that gets after a qb and 3 solid rbs. The wrs are not elite. Hooker had elite guys. Milton is not as good as Hooker, but milton doesn't have the same quality of wr's or OL to work with either. I’m feel their frustration but Stoops has them competitive - I knew this would be a hard fought game and either team could win. I can remember when I felt like the Kentucky game was a gimme but we were significantly humbled over the last 15 years and Stoops has built a solid program. So now I do see it as a rivalry game but one they have had trouble getting over the hump.

The problem for them is Stoops is at his ceiling. They will never breakout. Especially with the return of us, Kirby’s staying power, and maybe Napier trending Florida up.

They can’t accept the ceiling either because that’s admitting there won’t be the “breakout”.

Our series aren’t nearly as lopsided with those 3 and can be turned around. Kentucky has no chance of catching UT. We lead the series with UK by 60 games.

Got to the 2:05:00 mark and watch until TN scores…… the KY fan’s anger caught by the tv never gets old

You can hear him say “we’ll kiss my ass”…. Then “FU”…. Then very loudly “F tennessee they’re all a buncha no good sons a b****es!”

So much gold in that. The old broadcast style. No constant game score or even down on screen. The ESPN jacket of the sideline reporter. The blink-and-you-miss-it score updates. The player info cards that look like mugshots on the local news. Then mismatching white of the helmet and the unis.

I have been a life-long Vol fan and I have yet to understand why KY fans call this such an important FB rivalry for them. It is one sided. I have never heard a Vol fan call KY a rivalry game. By the time this game is played in the season they are at best trying to become bowl eligible. BB yes but FB no.

Maybe, but he’s the best we got in 23. Nico gets his turn next year and some folks will clamor for the backup. I hope we’ll see Nico vs UCONN get to toss it around some. Then again vs Vandy.

How is his QBR on the season in sec/ncaa? Total passing? Passing TDs?

Glad he played well last night but he has not proven himself to be a good qb

Potential problem for next year is that our OL might be weaker than we want to consider unless we go spend like drunken sailors in the portal. Nico might be an upgrade, but he's not gonna complete many from his back.
