Because his track record as a head coach indicates he's mediocre at beset?
His track record occurred at a school that had squat for resources, plus he was the AD. In Saban's first few years at Michigan State, he didn't do very much at all. He did upset Ohio State, who was #1 at the time, in 1998. but still finished 6-6 that year. I think you guys are just going to sell Dooley short any chance you get.
So what? He was competing against the likes of Idaho and other garbage. It isn't like he took LA Tech squads into the SEC.His track record occurred at a school that had squat for resources
Michigan State, like La Tech, is a second tier program in their own state. The difference is that Michigan State played in a conference where teams could actually compete for and win the national title. In Saban's first few years at Michigan State, he didn't do very much at all. He could possibly have the same records. He could also probably be better. That's the difference. 8-4 is worthless, always. But I'd rather go 4-8, 4-8, 4-8, 7-5, 12-0, than 8-4, 8-4, 8-4, 8-4, 8-4.Why?? So we can possibly hire someone that could have the same records for the same yearly span?? Sorry man, but I feel like that's the worst type of outlook to have.

And we ran that coach off for being such a loser.1. We lost to freaking Wyoming AT HOME two years ago
Exactly. That's one of the reason's Saban was actually a good hire.2. Saban was apparently a good enough coach to get his team to beat the #1 team in the nation in 1998 with that same second tier program.
That's what people said when Fulmer was the coach.Like I said, you guys keep selling him short, I LOVE IT. Just means that IF he doesn't do well, you'll be the first to start *****ing about how bad a a hire he was and call Mike Hamilton out for no reason.
