Where do we go from here, and does this loss effect recruiting?? (Merged)

I don't expect anyone to commit until the weekend of the Auburn game unless JaWuan announces out of the blue. I'd say we are trying to get JaWuan up here as quick as we can to see a game and lock him down. Riley could also commit that weekend. Cullen might. Dalvin Glass said he is taking his official to UT sometime in October, so whenever he does, I expect him to commit on the spot...

Honestly, I'm tired of the same threads being started over and over. This and fifty other threads (especially about crompton and UF), that get posted covering the same thing cannot possibly all be merged by mods, so please, just search for the correct thread your looking for and post in it. Thanks.

I'd say Riley as well... He's been high on us since the beginning... and with Monte making the play-calling... it's only a matter of time!

I just dont see why James Stone has not come out and commited yet i would love to c kiffin back up what he said about keeping a gate in the state..something fulmer didnt do letting golden tate from pope john paul go as well as former usc wide out patrick turner and dontae hightower who is lighting it up at alabama from lewisburg tn if we can get guys like james stone start to recruit memphis instead of ole miss getting those guys..if we can get in state recruits like stone as well as our out of state recruiting being so great we will be a force to be reckoned with tennessee isnt the best high school football state but there has def been some good players come out of the state for other schools as well at UT

My final 7

1) J. James OL
2) M. Moses OL
3) Cullen OL
4) Stone OL
5) Riley S
6) Riggs/Wright CB
7) Luc LB

Playing as a true freshman out of HS is almost impossible at OL. Leifheit is a December enrollee as well as some of current OL guys like Jose Jose.

The team we just played, UCLA, had a starting true freshmen at left OT, probalby the most important postion on the line.

Luc is an Early Enrollee right? So, we can expect his decision before December, I'd hope. We have a legit chance at landing him.

But I don't think he's next. No way. I see either James or Stills committing. I'd LOVE to see Bernard.

Now that we have found we can bring in 31 players in the 2010 class, that changes things. We now have 10 spots left...

JUCO OL- Moses
JUCO OL- Cullen, Gayden
OL- James
OL- Robinson, Stone, Arie, Leifheit, Glass
RB- Bernard, Dyer, Brown
TE- Fashaw
DT- Quarles
LB- Luc
CB- Hampton, Riggs, Wright
S- Riley, Wright

This also opens the door even more to bringing in a second QB, but I still don't think we take one unless it's Newton...

This is how I see the rest of the class shaking out.

1 LB
2 DB
1 WR
1 RB
4 OL
2 DT

I think we have a good chance at Kelcy Quarles and Sharrif Floyd at DT. JaWuan James, Stone, Robinson, and a JuCo guy at OL. Stills at WR. Gio Bernard at RB. Riggs and Riley at DB. I don't really know who the linebacker will be but I'll just blindly guess Victor Burnett.

Purely a guess based on where we are with these guys currently.
