So 30-16 when between 60-70.
One more for me good sir.
65-70????
I'm done with the calculations. Basically, what they've shown so far is that when CCM hits his current average possessions or in that ballpark, he wins far more than he loses.
When he slows it down or speeds it up too much (basically when he lets another team dictate a fast or uber slow pace) he doesn't do as well.
I assume you included the OT games in your figures which I did not since that changes the data??
Okay, so the average amount of possessions in the NCAA in 2012 and 2013 was roughly 66. I left out OT games because they didn't fit.
In games of 66 or less posessions:
2012- 11 win; 5 losses.
2013- 17 wins; 8 losses.
Total- 28 wins; 13 losses.
In games of more than 66 possessions:
2012- 7 wins; 7 losses.
2013- 3 wins; 5 losses.
Total- 10 wins; 12 losses.
Bull****. Why do you think we played atrocious? It goes hand in hand. Sorry you can't see it.
Well this knocks a hole in your theory...
Average possessions per games in wins: 63.86
Average possessions per game in losses:
65.29
It sure does!
If that's correct info for all games in 2 years excluding OT games then I concede
Edit:
Wait a minute I thought we averaged 66possessions per game????
Something is very fishy
Maybe the OT games with possesions in the upper 80s bumped it up a bit?
You're welcome to run the numbers yourself if you'd like, but it's pretty clear that these numbers don't reflect yours.
Show me where to find them and I would love to.
We averaged 67.6 in 2011 and 65.9 last year.
Mathematically impossible to have both winning and losing lower but nice try
Did you miss the part about overtime games being omitted? Those games with almost 90 possessions that I left out probably bumped the average a bit.

You're wrong, give up.
