I might have been able to "give him a pass" too but after learning he had asked others (the parents) to perpetuate that lie was just too much for me. If he had not come clean every coach, every recruit and every player at the Q would have been in jeopardy. All placed in the awkward position of lying to protect the "Coach" or to tell the truth to protect their careers. Not sure how much time passed between the "simple" lie and his coming clean but even one minute would have been too much.

Another lie. But what you don't understand is that the coach you want (whose identity you refuse to reveal) probably wouldnt be in those games.

It is absolutely idiotic. The silliness about scale of liberalism was even more dense. Berkeley and UVA couldn't be more different, yet both are universally acclaimed as top tier institutions. Hell, the govt owns my Alma mater and it is conservative as it can be.
