Personally, I was disappointed that he lied to the NCAA, but i gave him a pass when he admitted to it. I just wrote it off to giving into the temptation to fib during a weak moment. Happens to everybody.
If he is fired he will meet & beat a Vol team in the future. Book it, 'cause he'll be snatched up by a good program who wants a winner. Meanwhile, the haters here will no doubt bring back "buzzball" or something worse.
I need you and a few others to PM me your real names so I can check the annals for your accomplishments as a game coach. Lots of people understand the game as well as the coaches. It's making it happen when you are down there on the floor that makes it much more difficult.[/QUOTE said:Coach Fulmer, is that you??? Love the "if you haven't been head coach of a major program you know nothing" line.

Alot of people clearly want Pearl gone and after each loss they use it as another reason to fire him. Really? You think that his team's poor performance this year is a firable offense. This guy is not a mediocre coach and his resume proves it. This has been a tough year on and off the court. If you want him gone because of the off-court stuff fine. But stop using the team's poor play as justification.
The Oklahoma State game wasn't a big game, and the Wichita State game wasn't a big game, and the giant 17-point choke job against Ohio State wasn't a big game either. Nonconference wins in December and January are much more important.
Another lie. But what you don't understand is that the coach you want (whose identity you refuse to reveal) probably wouldnt be in those games.
No there isn't. Its all public education. It's one of the worst things to ever happen to this country. Some might be better than others, but none of it is good.
