yes, from this point forward I would like better results. what he has done so far is more than adequate. if he matches that over the next four years and doesn't improve any, then yes, UT should look at making a changeSo you agree that he either needs to produce better results or he should make less money then?

He could coach the talent he has how to play defense.
Or perhaps teach them better half court sets, instead of the wounded duck flex that he currently has.
Doing just one of them would be a start.
They say you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. In the instance of the two above issues, the leader is wandering aimlessly in the desert with the horse wondering WTF is going on.

you're right... this is a losing battle!!! you guys don't like pearl. period. end of it. regardless of what he's done or what he will do in the future, it will never be good enough. i imagine the rest of your life is pretty much the same. glass is always half empty in your world, i'm sure!
i mean, how would any of you be satisfied with pearl right now??
because you guys have already hung him. why?? I don't know, considering where this program was 5 years ago. he has built it up now to where higher expectations should be expected. this season hasn't even played out, and you're already done with it. let it play out and see what happens! and if you already know what's gonna happen, can you give me some lotto numbers????
good god, that wasn't MY arguement!! that was somebody elses who said performance should be based on pay. i could care less how much you get paid. i expect 100 percent effort all the time
That is, quite possibly, the best analogy for our halfcourt I have ever seen on this board. Bravo, evil Kentucky fan.
Those who whine tend to forget or wasn't around during the hard times of UT basketball...About 20 years worth...We finally got a good coach who is a fantastic recruiter and people are still moaning and groaning...Some of you sound like spoiled brat Kentucky fans...We have it good compared to what it used to be...So enjoy it
