Yahoo Sports lowers the boom on Miami

I wonder if Florida will still be scared to schedule Miami when they have a roster full of walk-ons.
If it were up to me miami would have never left the schedule. I think most Gators feel the same way. Not our decision.

HOWEVER, if you take a look north just a bit, the AD at u of michigan publicly acknowledged that he will no longer play any away non-conference games aside from Notre Dame. He will play ND, and a bunch of MAC and lower tier schools. I would link if I could find it. I dont agree with the theory. I understand that the folks at UF wanted to keep a lighter non-con schedule based on the tough conference schedule. But I dont agree with it. Im all for playing anyone, anywhere, anytime. To be the best you have to beat the best.

But that is just me.

That's probably the ONLY way they'd schedule us.

Even though I bleed orange, I believe the gators destoryed the canes last time they played. They have no reason to not play you. It's a win from here on out. The last time we played you we won and you had a roster full of payed players. The U will be lucky to stay in the ACC after this. They bring no value.

Logic suggests this; I'm baffled as to why they refuse to.

I have no official idea either. My last conversation with Jeremy Foley (and my only conversation with him) went something like this:

JF: Hey, can you pass the salt down this way?
ME: sure
JF: How are your Spartans going to do this year?
ME: Big Ten Champs.
JF: Looks like a dog fight.
ME: Im certain.

This sheds no light on the subject. I am sorry. :)

So did they have to pay money back everytime Tebow went after them and ran over lb and threw the DL down to the turf as he took as long as he wanted to pass the ball?

This is a long run on sentence and I read it five times and it still didnt make any sense so I tried to read it again but it still didnt make any sense oh well.

Insider info, IMO.

What's this? A my blood runs orange vol fan jumping on the UF bandwagon? What's that saying "If you can't beat em join em". And yes before u say it if the canes can't beat em, they'll pay someone to.

I think what he's saying is that now that Tebow is gone from UF he wants his nuts and he's a really great quarterback but he holds onto the ball too long and Miami isn't a very good football program so florida walks all over them and that it's silly Miami complains about Florida not wanting to play them because Miami would get whooped and maybe Florida just wants some cupcakes on the schedule is that so much to ask for I mean gotta get those titals, bruh?

Better.

No I think he was saying how much tebow ran over miami and passed for a bunch of touchdowns thanks to his awesome throwing motion and miami should pay back money because tebow is so awesome and we should all stop making fun of tebow because hes such a good kid and a good role model and he shouldnt be benched in denver imo because hes better than kyle orton well basically better than every qb in the nfl because of his accuracy and mechanics

Personally I wish that the Tebow-slurpers and the Tebow-haters would all meet in the middle somewhere and realize that this is indeed only his second year in the league and not all rookie quarterbacksters come in and start as rookies and that yeah he has some things to improve on and I believe that with time he will become a decent NFL quarterback but certainly no Peyton Manning and no Im not singling out PM because I like the fella and you know I was actually on Peyton Manning Pass just this past weekend and I was wondering why it wasnt longer or was he given a shorter street on campus because he is a possession type quarterback and maybe if he had thrown downfield a little more would have gotten a longer street named after and who got the longer street between him and the holdsclaw chick?

Peyton Manning Pass is well over 100 yds, FWIW.

I am sure there are schools that do things like this; however, I think Miami went a little overboard and it is documented. I think this will just get bigger and will affect more teams.

I'm waiting for someone to connect the dots and inform me as to how Calipari and WWW are involved, because well, they have to be.

Fiiniest thing of all, ESPN said that the U fans are like rally? We did all that and still didn't get any good players? Why are we 7-5 every year? Not we just got busted out and will have no football team. Maybe we can see the U go against the V in Nashville. They would have to travel to Commodore stadium because the sec is more prestigious. Vandy can schedule a home and home series.
