Lol
It was no surprise that when Tennessee was set to field it's best team in years Pastner tucked his tail between his legs and ran.
Your best team in years? Your best team in years is picked 3rd in the SEC and will likely be a double seed in the tourney, if indeed CCM even makes his first tourney this year?
Gimme a break. History shows that Pastner has absolutely nothing to fear from Cuonzo Martin.

Actually, HISTORY shows that UT leads the series. Also, that 3rd in the SEC team will be ranked this year so once again, HISTORY would be on UT's side since Joshy hasn't beaten a ranked team.

And history being three whole games, one of which was a 2OT game decided in the final seconds. Let's stop the charade of suddenly believing Josh Pastner is some immovable force. If he were coaching, say Arkansas for example, with similar results on the court and off, you would ridicule him as much as you do Cuonzo Martin.
This time last year Black was committed to Baylor, wasn't he?
Yeah, 3 years ago I was probably thinking about another recruit, what is your point?
When your coach can beat ours, let me know. He's 0-fer against Pastner and Memphis, and after this year, due to the talent drop-off, his chances aren't gonna get any better.
Are you trying to get partially credit for a loss because it came after 2 OTs?
The fact of the matter is Pastner beats Martin in Knoxville, in Memphis and on a neutral court. If you guys want to play in China, he'll beat Martin. If you want to play on the moon, he'll beat Martin.
I suggest that you all get over your fascination with Pastner and Memphis and focus on Martin and the Vols this season, because it's make or break for Cuonzo. You guys probably have more threads on your board mentioning Memphis basketball than we do on MTO.

And Pastner is 0-fer against AP top 25 ranked teams, which Tennessee will be to start the season. And seeing as how the sample size is much larger for Pastner vs ranked teams than Pastner vs Tennessee, i'd say mine is a bit stronger. See, I can manipulate stats to fit my agenda as well.
You must be an acrobat, because those mental gymnastics you just pulled are astounding.
Pastner is undefeated, and with the way that Martin is recruiting here in Knoxville, that doesn't look to change in the future. I'm just being real with you guys.

And Pastner is an underachiever given the talent he has, and that doesn't appear likely to change either.
Just being real with ya bro
Dude, your coach sucks. You don't see us acting like Martin is a better coach than Billy Donovan even though he's 3-0 versus Billy D and the Gators who have had superior talent in all 3 matchups.
That doesn't really have any bearing on the series between he and Cuonzo, it also shouldn't make you feel any better that your coach is completely dominated by an "underachiever given the talent he has".
