2012 Silly Season Discussion

I'm trying to figure out when Z-Line Designs came out and took back the sponsor suspension they put on Busch at Phoenix.

Oh yes, you mean the time they requested a different driver? He was still allowed to drive any other car he wanted, therefore there was no suspension.

Had they not allowed him to race at all; that would have been a suspension. However, the only people who make that decision are NASCAR.

Z-Line Designs took him out of the car. He was not allowed in the 18 car that weekend due to sponsorship interest. That's a fact.

Of course it is. But you didn't say that. You said they suspended him.

He was still allowed to race. That's not how a suspension works, Trevor.

Oh, I always thought a suspension meant getting replaced by someone. I guess we have different interpretations.

and they just re-upped with Keselowski and Wolfe. guess he's the man now.

there's no good rides left and there no good drivers for Penske to get.

I've only seen one link to that. Call me strange, but I'm not believing it until it's somewhere like Jayski or the NASCAR site.

Yeah, it could come down to Reutimann, Ragan, and Vickers. Out of that group I hope Reutimann get the nod. Also where does Kurt go from here? There really are no rides out there right now.

i bet he doesn't drive.

i trust Roger Penske descions above anything, but i hope he doesn't try Hornish again.

I don't see him rushing Hornish back to Cup early again. I wouldn't mind seeing him giving Sadler a second chance either. Not to many available drivers at this point.

Wow, haven't seen any Nascar news today. Good for DR. Hate it for Kurt. He may be a jerk but I wouldn't wish this upon him. that's a strong move the by Penske.

I'd say RFR built and prepared cars are some of the best in the business.
