The Bulldog fans are nervous. I think the majority of Tennessee fans are quietly confident in the ability of this team.

For me, it went like this:

Florida week - super nervous. The week seemed to go by super super slow and I wondered if we could get over the hump with them.

Alabama week - not as nervous as the Florida week. Thought we had a small chance of getting the upset if things went our way. Lost some hope after our entire secondary was out in addition to Tillman still not playing. The Team showed absolutely no nerves from the very start and that gave me more confidence for the games ahead.

Kentucky week - Full confidence we would win. This team believes, why shouldn't I?

Georgia week - A little nervous but not much. We can make the playoffs win or lose. I feel like Alabama is a better team than Georgia. I believe they are much more nervous than we are overall. Let's kick their ass. I know our team knows they can and should win, so I'm not worried about an awful start to the game like the Dooley/Jones/Pruitt years.

Not really. We have far, far, far exceeded every expectation imaginable this year. If we beat Georgia that’s awesome. If we lose, it’s really no big deal.

We have no business having a chance in this game. Georgia is supposed to win. Except, the good guys like winning, so we're gonna see what shakes out Saturday. Then watch bama and see if we're playing LSU in Atlanta.

TENNESSEE is definitely the "Good Guys" these days. GBO!

I mean if we win this we will most likely finish 12-0 and play for an SEC title and be in the playoffs… it’s been a long time since we’ve played a game with implications like that. The Bama win was huge but this would send us over the top.

Was more nervous the week of Florida tbh. That game was a program defining game ONLY because we were favored and losing to them this year would’ve been a step back. If we lose a close one to Georgia, then it is what it is. We will still have a shot at the playoff Imo and as others have said, this season has already ushered in a new era of Tennessee football. I am beyond pleased.

It’s weird but I really don’t. I don’t think think I’ve ever had more of a “playing with House money” feeling going into a big game.

Yea, I don’t think Georgia can lose this game and still have met expectations for the season. But should we lose, and then win out, 11-1 in year 2 of a rebuild is still a fantastic season. So yea, we’re playing with house money.

This season is already a major success so no, I’m not worried or anxious over the game. Anything that happens is gravy at this point. Also, we can still make the playoffs even if we lose this game.

Not the least bit anxious. I have been enjoying this ride and will continue to do so. I feel that anxiety is counter productive. I sense no anxiety with the team ergo I feel none as well

Not really. The last decade and a half has changed my perspective. We’ve been to the top and tumbled down farther than anyone thought possible when it was happening. I don’t worry about losing anymore. I’m happy that we have found ourselves back in this position. I expect to win on Saturday, but if we don’t? It’s been a great season and it’s not over yet. If we do win, I’ll be ecstatic, but we’ve been there before and will be there again.

The odds are against us, but they’ve been against us all year and we still have not only won each week, but improved every game. We are about to hit our peak.

This season has already been satisfying, and it becomes a matter of improving every season until we are playing for a national championship again.

I don't think GumpJr is as good as some people think. Lost a ton of experience and leadership last year. Tillman put up a ton of yards on them even with that talent.

I'm actually not sweating this game.

Has anyone been this anxious before a game? I am 31 years old and have followed the Vols since the Peyton Manning days, watching games with my dad. I have been a faithful fan throughout my life and can’t recall being so excited/ anxious for a game. It’s getting hard to concentrate at work without checking what’s happening on ESPN or other media outlets talking about the Vols! Is anyone else feeling like this? GBO
I'M CALM AF RIGHT NOW CAUSE VOLS BY FIDDY.

None in the least.

UT fans would have sold souls and sacrificed husbands/wives to beat UF, UA, LSU and UK, and open CPF #1. Even if that meant you had to take a 50-0 spanking by Georgia, you would have paid to see that, right???

Saturday will differentiate an incredible season we can hang our fan hats on VS one of the most prolific, surprising, dominating teams of a generation. Either one is fine by me.

My anxiety is mounting because I won’t be able to see the game! The most important one in prob 20 years! I’m out of country and I’m not thinking I will have wifi to see it. I have a little bit of hope for wifi!🙏🏼🤞🏼

If they win that will be awesome and hopes of a national championship still on the table. If they lose, that sucks, but I try to keep in mind that this is just a game kids almost half my age are playing in. I’ll still have my family, job, hobbies, and friends. It’s just a game at the end of the day. Nothing I personally do has any impact on the outcome. I’m not drawing up plays or working out with the team. So if UT does win (or lose) the outcome is 100% out of my control. FWIW I think UT pulls it off 42-24. This is a special year.
Not me...if we lose I'm going across the county line and pick a fight with every Ga.,Walmart Tee shirt wearing f***** I can find.
