Any chance this "attack" was orchestrated by Obama since it was supposed to make Trump supporters look bad? Somebody with serious Chicago pull got him off.

He is probably threatening to drop a dime on whoever thought up this scam....could not be him......unless they get him released unconditionally.

This is a pretty thinly veiled "deal." They kept his $10k (not a significant amount of money to him, but the simple act of keeping the bail is worth mentioning) and are making him perform community service. A simple dropping of the charges would have been just that, all charges dropped.

There are three reasons to punish criminals: (1) it's a deterrent, (2) to fulfill our sense of justice, (3) to protect the community from the criminal. I don't need justice, I don't need protection from JS, but I do want to send a message to other people who might try to start a race war for their own personal gain. Seems like a societal good.

Just goes to show you, if you screw up a few highly paid lawyers and a few dozen or more thousands of dollars changing hands makes you impervious to laws.

I’m sure our resident “lawyers” and socialists would be on board with socialized legal defense. Everybody gets a random public defender.

If there is any aspect of our culture that really is two-tiered, it is the justice system. And it isn't because of race; it's because of money.

Wealthy or famous people of any race get breaks that "regular" people do not.

It was one massive circle jerk by liberals who were so quick to jump to conclusions about the case because a gay, black celebrity was allegedly beaten by MAGA hat wearing Neanderthals.

The MSM and the typical morons were so excited to be outraged . Being a victim is cool.

Depending on where you live, you just have to throw the dollars at the right attorney, which will in turn throw dollars at the right politician which will in turn throw dollars at the right prosecutor which will then take the right cop out for a burger. Case solved.

I'tll be interesting to see how they treat these celebs and high falooten big wigs who got rung up on the college admissions deal. Some of these folks are krazy loaded.
