CJH just said..

Tons of disappointment in the locker room from everyone that is invested. I think this is a direct shot at the players. I love it. We saw a lack of effort and want too. Big changes coming, I believe some of these upperclassman may have become stagnant and their lack of effort spread throughout the football team as we saw tonight. No leaders on the field.

Once you make life changing money, you lose that drive.
It starts with Josh Heupel. Having three weeks to get ready for this game and watching what happened is unacceptable. He and the coaches got out coached.

At first glance, I kind of thought the same. But after I thought about it, Ryan Day and Chip Kelly picked apart our weaknesses. They knew our safeties were slow and would never be able to play clean zone. They knew McCoy couldn’t keep up with Jeremiah Smith (who is clearly a generational talent). They spread us out with the short, quick passes to the edges then took the top off. Also, we may have caught Ohio State’s best game they played all year. They do what they did to us last night to ANYBODY and they will beat them by 4 scores.

If I were a gambler, I would always bet on UT football to come out flat after a bye week or some downtime. It has been ridiculously consistent this season.

Wouldn't say crappy. We're mid-tier/solid and against most opponents, we've got a shot. Against elite teams, we likely seeing games like last night more often than not.
We have no shot vs Ga, Texas, OSU, Oregon. The talent gap is a 2 to 3 touchdown loss to those teams. Hopefully we fix it and get better players or just come to accept our status. Theirs always going to be like 4-5 teams that pay the money and get the players. Until we do then expect to get drubbed in the playoffs . A lot of fans were delusional and thought just because we played in the SEC and really beat nobody of any substance that we were at that level , we’re NOT even close.

Let's finally be real here. OSU had a lot to do with how we played last night. They were faster, more talented, better coached and way more motivated than we were.
Absolutely. Our coaching staff is awful. Terrible game plan on both sides of the ball.

Article I just read said Sampson came into the game with a hamstring injury and aggravated in 1st qtr and squirl still hurt with shoulder. And I don't know if Thornton has played a whole game this entire season without leaving with some kind of injury.

Not defending anything here but once the O lost Sampson they were toast. Nico is not good enough to put the game on his shoulders.

They will try it again versus others, but they won't be as successful. Even our interior DL or pass rush was average to below. It was a pitiful performance.

I honestly don't give a **** what he said. He should have said I'm embarrassed that I got out coached and out classed. He needs to apologize to the entire fan base for that monstrosity he put out on the field. Disgusting in every way.

Honestly brought everyone who worked hard for their money, that spent the time to drive up get hotels, and sit in that cold a** weather to an absolute slaughter. Made me embarrassed and sad to see 30-40k fans at the stadium just completely gutted. Then we are the ones that get posted all over social media to look like clowns….

Yeah, several need to give every penny of their NIL money back.

The two biggest takeaways for me:

Our WRs are not in the same multiverse as Ohio State.

Our secondary is not NEARLY fast enough.

A tertiary point of separation was our OL. We brought the Dooley era tater sacks this game.
I think even Dooley had better tackles.. Campbell and Heard are awful..

Some of the players think they're going to the NFL but aren't. Reality sit in eventually. You don't give your all here, then they don't want you there.
Ain’t nobody going pro after that performance. We looked like dog **** last night in all phases including the coaches. Looked scared as kids at a haunted house.

Heupel is responsible for the loss.
The playcalling on offense was horrible. Did nothing to help a struggling Oline and young QB.
No quick passing game, no misdirection, no use of motion to make the defense adjust, no rolling the pocket. No check down options.
Just straight drops with slow developing routes. The option on 3rd and 7 on our first possession of second half was idiotic.

Defensively, the focus had to be on getting pressure on their QB. We got zero pressure and let torch our defense.

Pathetic game planing and that’s all on Heupel.

Your never as good or as bad as you think. We ran into OSU playing a revenge game and were not prepared. Could we have won this game with better effort? Maybe. We were a bubble team for a reason; OSU showed us that reason.

We are already #2 in NIL collectives behind Ohio St, we just gotta do better on buying the right players and not sinking a ton in
a few players.
Oregon has got to be #1 now. They got bike money, Texas is probably near 2 now. Mich dropped more than 10 million on a QB

Unless haslam starts chipping in Pilot money, I don't think UT can hang there much longer

Boosters will need to kick in millions more so Josh can buy elite talent to compete with top 5 teams.

I hate to say it but they also need to put pressure (i.e. hold funds) to push Heupel to go out and get a new Secondary Coach as well as a new OC and new WR coach.

Definitely alright with keeping Tim Banks, Defensive Line coach (Rodney Garner), and the RBs coach (De'Rail Sims). Mixed bag on Elarbee (o-line) because they have shown improvement at times throughout the year.
