That was a joke. Guess you don’t appreciate my sense of humor.
Ya know, it’s too bad you don’t look more at my content without hating on it because it’s me.
I’m a huge fan as well and feel I have a fair bit of knowledge to share. You immediately dismiss what I post but it’s only an opinion. You could disagree and try a little back and forth with me. I don’t bite.
I have great back and forth a with Amb. Never a cross word and I appreciate his willingness to converse with me fairly. I have agreed with Amb several times after hearing his response.
I seriously wish I wasn’t dismissed as a troll so quickly. Pointing out team deficiencies is part of message board conversations. And again, I post plenty of positive things as well.
Can’t we just get along?
I coached many years and never ran out o TOs. But no reason to stop another teams runs or carry more than one home with you. JMHO!Looking forward to seeing Tess hit 3’s as well. Can’t Jordan Walker hit 3’s? As far as timeouts, in a tight game at the end, you never know how many you might need. Sure wouldn’t want to be near the end of the game and not have enough timeouts.
All that's true except when Texas plays us. Someone will have a career game and their supporting cast will play strong. At least that seems to be what happens to us in games like this.
I actually picked Texas to win last year, and was surprised that it was close. They had a much better team...they just weren't deep. This year's team is just not good. Gaston could maybe replace what Holmes brought to the court, but none of the guards are even close to Sutton and Higgs. The biggest difference now is that Vic is a much better coach compared to Karen or Kellie, and he'll get more out of what he has...but I think the skills gap is too big for Texas to overcome.remember last year, when ya'll were calling Texas to lose big to the LVs, how did that work out?
OT. I now realize what the term oofed means. My 15-year-old granddaughter had to explain it to me. I must be getting hep to what is going on in today's world. LOLIf you think this team was being competitive... oof. Competitors want to win, not worry about “how they looked or played” or if it will affect their draft stock. 18 post touches, no shots by the one player who got you to overtime IN overtime BIG OOF
I don't know about the final margin but I was thinking the same thing, that Texas will not be as tough as an opponent as WVU for the Lady Vols.I think that Tennessee actually matches up better against Texas vs. WVU, even if Texas is probably a better team and has the best overall player. If Tennessee double teams Collier every time she touches the ball and gives her no room to operate, I don't think the Texas guards are good enough to make up for her lost production against a team as big as Tennessee. They aren't the same outside threat compared to the WVU guards. The wildcard for me is DeYona Gaston, and if she can stay out of foul trouble and make Tennessee pay for double teaming Collier.
I'm calling it: Tennessee wins under 7 points.
The main defender on Collier has to be Key. She'll have a field day if it's KK or Green. I hope Kellie starts with Key/Green in the paint. Otherwise, Collier will have 10 points before the first media timeout.I don't know about the final margin but I was thinking the same thing, that Texas will not be as tough as an opponent as WVU for the Lady Vols.
The only issue could be foul trouble for anyone guarding Collier. You'd think Vic will be working her hard on how to play against the double team based on how difficult was for her against A&M.
Yes, Amb3096, it will be a shame if Kellie does not try to emulate the defense that Gary Blair used on Collier. It may failed due to adjustments by Schaefer, but she should try the defensive scheme at the least.Point blank, Kellie needs to get it done against Texas. Hopefully, she picked up some ideas from what TAMU did to make Collier a non-factor.

True but Key is who I'm worried about getting into foul trouble. The main defender on Collier has to be Key. She'll have a field day if it's KK or Green. I hope Kellie starts with Key/Green in the paint. Otherwise, Collier will have 10 points before the first media timeout.
I will go with KK to start KK is 6-5 and Collier is 6-5, KK has the frame to stand toe to toe with her. Key at 6-7 with her wingspan i would rotate her with KK on dealing with Collier. To me the wild card in this game needs to be Suarez they really have no one to guard her.
True but Key is who I'm worried about getting into foul trouble.
If Davis has a big bounce back game it will go a long way in mitigating any post issues.
Hmmm, not sure I agree that KK can guard Collier. Collier is longer, faster and more athletic.
I don't think Suarez matches up well here. She'd be at a serious disadvantage against Gaston's athleticism.
I think ultimately, Tennessee's post depth is what will tip the game in their favor. If they get either Collier or Gaston in foul trouble, there's no one Vic can bring in to come close to replacing them, and their guards aren't good enough to overcome the loss of the starting posts.
