The guy was 18 years old, apparently had a phone and internet access, he was either an adult or not? So I'm sorry for not having much empathy or sympathy for an adult who can be talked/badgered or coerced into committing suicide by a 17 year old girl. Or anyone for that matter.

If I told you to jump off a bridge everyday and one day you did, am I responsible? You're a Bammer and we all know Bammers are mentally disturbed.

You're using the term "adult" as though he was in full mental, and rational control of what he was doing, and of sound mind. He in fact was not, clearly. This case should be treated no differently than someone manipulating a disabled person.

It's funny, the defense side here is indicating she's just a kid and maybe was like Juliet or confused or brainwashed but the other teen (the one who killed himself) was a rational adult who may or may not have brainwashed her.

You're taking a hardline stance with someone who suffered from what seems to be pretty hardcore bouts of depression. My pastor's son committed suicide much in the same fashion. it wasnt because he was a bad kid, or a wuss. its because he was mentally ill. this stuff isnt a joke. there are people who are in really bad shape that need help.

Not sure i get where youre coming from. You must not have kids, my heart aches for that boys parents. And, if found guilty that young lady clearly had intent to do harm, prosecutors will be able to easily establish that based upon the evidence. i hope she has a long time to think about things.

In no way am I or have I defended this piece of garbage. What she did was absolutely disgusting. I just cannot see how it was illegal. That's all.

I think it has to be a crime because you can't have people tricking other people into doing terrible things to themselves or others without consequence. There's just too much possibility for abuse there, too much criminal intent, to let it go unpunished as a crime.
