What a load of crap. This is a move for double the salary he currently makes and is back to his home. When things don't go positive, universities don't honor contracts. These coaches put up with all levels of crap from fans when things don't go positive also. You're really going to fault a guy for making a move that is best for his family?

I just read the article about Eddie Gran being close to accepting FSU's offer? That would be a big blow.

I guess I was hoping more for a full year of recruiting from the staff to see what type class they would bring in. Everything I have read about Gran, he is a decent guy. I can not believe he is prone to jumping staffs.

I would love to get a coach with the last name Kelly. Brian Kelly and Chip Kelly are having a lot of success right now. Imagine Ed and Trooper on the practice field, that would be a crazy riot waiting to happen.

Some of you in the know fill us in on Kelly. Would he be a step up or down as far as coaching and recruiting?

Kelly may be a step up as far as coaching goes. He's been purely a WR coach for a long time. As for recruiting, Wilson is very good in LA and MS. If we lose him, we may lose Ken Adams and I think we'd almost certainly lose Anthony Johnson...

Trooper is the recruiting coordinator at Auburn. No way I could see him turning away from that job to come here and only be a WR coach...

I think the only way we go after Trooper is if Gran leaves I think if just Wilson leaves we get Kelly
