Heated exchange between Nick Saban and Paul Finebaum

Yet he still has a job. He should be fired for that.

Normally I would agree that if not charged, I probably not suspend player, but he knows good and well they should have charged and deserves a least a suspension.

You know as well as anyone Saban has bullied the media in Alabama to the point they're scared to ask anything even semi controversial of the mean little midget. People look the other way because he wins. But that doesn't make it right. He's a POS of a person.
Amen.:hi:

Not sure how this is a response to the post you quoted.

I don't understand why this seems to be a situation where you are either in Saban's corner or Finebaum's.

I don't think either did anything wrong.

Finebaum asked the tough question. Saban supported his players who aren't being charged.

No one has to be "wrong" here.

I agree, as much as I got a good kick out of the whole showing. When it comes down to it PF ask the questions that needed to be asked.. thats his job some may like it some may not.

Same with Nick, he protected his players the way he saw fit and that was his right to do and his job for the players.

Saban is an idiot, LMAO!

Saban: "Why did the two football players get arrested and the other guys didn't?"

Have you ever caught ALL of the fish in the lake?

I mean seriously. Hello, dumbass?! Why the f*** were your two football players in a car AT ALL with drugs and a stolen firearm?

In my opinion I doubt Saban would have this righteous indignation against the media if it hadn't been a 5-star offensive tackle. If it were a third string bench warmer Saban would have caved and kicked dude off and would have been held up as running a tight ship.

Saban needs his star player and this is damage control, nothing more.

On the sec network they said that saban got downright mad at the break and used an assortment of 4 letter words talking about how there was 4 kids in the car but his 2 players were the only ones arrested... he said the officers were lsu fans and were out to get players....i was jus proud of finebaum for actually asking the questions...

Saban feels an LSU /TN matchup for SEC title game this season. Both will beat him this year IMO with another loss on his schedule as well. Tough year to have an address in the toothless inbred capital of the world, Tuscaloosa after the 2016 season ends.

Whatever. Alabama has the biggest player payroll on the planet. Rims for cars, free cars to drive, $500 hand shakes every time you turn around, houses for mama. But they will never get caught. :bad:

The Saban situation I can kind of understand, being the DA didn't press charges against them. It's a poor reasoning by the DA IMO, but at the same time, that's the way the ball bounces from time to time.

On the other hand, the Mississippi State and Dan Mullen's response to the Jeffery Simmons situation was certainly really bad. This individual was charged with assault and had a woman on the ground beating her. And only got a one game suspension.

Feinbaum is a royal douche, but he was barking up the wrong tree for that interview.

It's right to suspend when a player isn't charged?

BearCat- You have a good point. If these players had been accused of something different - anything dealing with a sexual assault accusation, Saban would have found himself with much less leverage in "looking out for his guys", and found himself in much the same situation as CBJ has been in. On this one, he can skate.

Saban, having coached at both LSU and Alabama, can throw the "LSU cops" scenario and throw the cops under the bus based on his knowledge of LSU fans. Whether the cops were LSU fans or not is questionable.

Mullen gave one of the worst answers possible.

Saban treated Finebaum like the worm he is and gave a real answer

Anyone who thinks Saban's response was worse than Mullen's is either incredibly biased or incredibly dumb.

No. Why would you admit it? You tell the cops who sold it to you and move on with your life.

Or you don't buy stolen guns.
Crazy idea but often works.

To avoid a discussion, yes there is a website that runs the numbers to check. You can do it from your phone, takes about 3 minutes.
