Gruden is at the Fox and Hound eating lunch with ETSU's coach is what I heard, then after he gets there program back up and running hs is going to come to Knoxville and conquer the world. That's what my sources are telling me. BOOM mark it down you heard it here first.......hehehehehe

CBJ still has a chance. He has to lean on our offensive line. He has to restore confidence to the defense. He has to go +2 in the talent column, and that is his record. I fear though he was +2 in the Big East, but the SEC is the best of best. Second tier these days is Steve Spurrier. Let that sink in. Even Muschamp is proving he is worthy of the league. Franklin has the nation talking about Vandy --- VANDY!

Folks, we needed Gruden. It wasn't a pipe dream, but we had to roll out the red carpet, absolutely. The CryptKeeper failed. We've got to hope Coach Butch Jones is +2. I want him to be +2. He's still got a chance, but he's got to take some big scalps 2013.

Yep. Gruden wanted to coach so bad that he needed some more love. That's why he's coaching another team now.

gruden makes over $4 million for working 1-2 days each week--no way he's giving that up anytime soon for a coaching gig working 80 hours for less money.

Gruden would have been an elite recruiter on name only. The number 1 requirement for a coaching job at TN should be that you are an elite recruiter. If you are mediocre or below GTFO. It's won with the Jimmy and Joe's, ask Meyer if you don't think so. It would be the number 1 requirement to coach at UT. So far we have struck out in that department in a very big way. I am still amazed what Dooley did to us, damn I hate him, I believe he was working for the pay off from the minute he set foot on campus, such a pompous a hole.

I'm so sick of all these nae Sayers out there. I'm growing to like CBJ and believe that he will be an outstanding coach. I can't wait until he turns this program and all you nae Sayers eat your words. Makes me sick to even say your part of the vol family. He said it him self "this is my dream job and hopefully you guys won't be sick of me in 30 years" makes me very optimistic of the job he's going to do! :rock:

If Butch cant get it done then it will be another day older and deeper in debt. Absolutely no hope for the immediate future. The University should be making plans to renovate Neyland to 70k. The landscape is changing. Home entertainment systems are doing a good job keep folks at home.

This thread is ridiculous. Gruden wasn't coming, Phil isn't coming back and the gorilla got shot walking to the community store to get some Pringles after his tennis match.

When will all this end? The dude had 30 days to get a recruiting class and hasn't even coached a game yet and people are still complaining about not getting Gruden and saying he's not the right hire. Coach Jones has more experience winning college games than Gruden. Just saying.
